A powercrept Argent Squire. And with 2 attack, it can easily take down nearly every 1 drop that matters.
If aggro pally is in, this card would be an instant pick. That divine shield makes this card relevant even in the mid game.
Incredibly powerful on curve, bad later into the game. It's also Rise to the Occasion support. ODD cost as well, so ODD paladin could include this minion. Yeah it seems solid. Not the best minion, but good regardless.
Not sure if Argent Squire + is enough these days. MAybe if we had better buff spells, but we just don't right now
Aggressive (1) drop should help Paladin compete for the board early on.
You can tell they are pushing for Paladin to be viable this expansion
Is there some payoff for this Paladin self-damage? I imagine it's a pretty safe bet they aren't going to reprint The Demon Seed as a Paladin card.
Incredible 1 drop, especially in the early game. I'm keen to try out Rise to the Occasion again but honestly, an aggro non-quest paladin would probably be good as well.
Luckily there was no new paladin card that "turned damage into healing".
The self 2 damage shouldn't matter too much for Aggro decks, just getting a good board early makes it worth.
Pretty good 1 drop, likely to see play in most decks since the health loss isn't very significant.
