Not too surprised to see this being printed, since Wither itself becomes useless once the undead horde are all gone. So it makes sense that there should be a card that generates undead boards back
But this card has more applications than merely as reload for aggro druid. Basically this card is another Scale of Onyxia, assuming the first one is played. Or alternatively you can run a multitude of small defensive minions like Annoy-o-Tron and Plated Beetle, and this card will properly bring them back, sort of like a psuedo Spreading Plague that needs buildup.
I can see plenty of applications for this card, no matter the deck.
This is a great refill card for token druid. Also makes Wither and Elder Nadox more viable but even adding this to a nature beast aggro druid is good
Reminds me quite alot of Anyfin Can Happen, which could be abused with charging murlocs. Whether this will be as good remains to be seen, as specific murlocs are probably better to rezz than 2-cost minion, but it also cost significantly less. Interesting card ☺️
The swarm potential of druid that expansion is so overpowered. More Sire Denathrius shenanigans. :D
You could resurrect your Whelps from Scale of Onyxia, essentially gaining two more copies of that card...at least, until rotation. Crazy.
Kinda wonder why they haven't slap a Spell-school to this one ..?
Also, the flavor text matches the "Unending" theme to a T :
swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm swarm - ...
I guess turn 4, maybe 3 with coin, would be the earliest one could play this. I doubt you'd have enough minions in your resurrect pool by then, especially since you'd be spending your mana on ramping. Though would summoning a bunch of weak minions on turn 6 be useful?
Feels too slow. Will rez a few 1/1s at the very least (Lingering Zombie is too good not to include) meaning it#s just a mediocre board refill that only wins you the game if you've exhausted all their removal.
Also a dead draw early on.
Okay so this is a great reload for Token Druid decks, and potentially +7 damage or more for your Sire Denathrius. This seems pretty good, run your opponent out of removal then play Unending Swarm, if they remove it Unending Swarm again until some stuff sticks and then buff your board and overwhelm your opponent. Sounds pretty good.
5 stars just because it's 3rd and 4th copy of Scales of Onyxia, which is a totally healthy thing for Druid to have :)
I guess aggro Druid won't have many issues with running out of steam after having their board cleared, now...
