Its main purpose is to give you Arcane Bolts and a decent turn 1 minion. The bolts of course is pretty good far as a ping goes, but crucially provides you the ammunition you need for an OTK with Vexallus strats.
Cheap enough to brann it out while youre doing other stuff.

Make me miss the good ol' Mana Wyrm from vanilla's day
10/10, goes into every Mage deck just on the basis of being generally useful.
This is extremely versatile and can go into a variety of decks. Love the artwork too, need to get one of these golden.
Two of these in your deck is pretty much the same thing as putting four Arcane Bolts in your deck, except you also get two weak minions that "draw" one of them. Since that card seems like it will be good, so will this.
Very versatile card, and pretty much all of the 1 mana 1/2 "add card to hand" cards have seen play throughout HS history, so i'm pretty sure this one will as well.
Early board tempo, gives a decent card. Yeah, seems pretty good to me!
Great turn 1 play, and more Arcane Bolts to be had from it. Awesome card!
