Its main purpose is, as you guessed it, to supply you with arcane bolts. So if the bolts are key then this would be key.
But it is significantly worse than Arcane Wyrm. Bad stats for cost, and being a deathrattle means your opponent can interact with it (or you got to pop it).
Viability dependent on arcane bolt's, which is not a good sign for this card.
Really depends if Vexallus gets to be competitively viable, as we can all foresee how having a few more bolts on hand could make you win the game. But are Arcane Bolts that good ?

Ah yes, Schrodinger's Mech strikes once again.
Good card probably, but not nearly as clean as Violet Spellwing.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Its not bad. Ofc there will be a new arcane mage archetype and this minion will slot right in there coz it's still decent value. Probably won't see much play if the whole Arcane Bolt OTK doesn't work out.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Manathirsted Arcane Bolt seems pretty good, especially with Vexallus, so I'm going to say this will be at least alright.
Gives Vexallus more SMOrc fuel, pretty good. And its bad HP is insignificant, considering you want to deathrattle to trigger. Seems decent.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Just alright enough because it makes Arcane Bolts for OTKs.

Solid stats, and the Arcane Bolts are quite strong by themselves, so seems worth playing.
