Sounds interesting but the pool of Arcane spells in Hunter is just a tad small (and by that I mean that outside of the two revealed ones there's literally just Arcane Shot)
Its another in a set of clunky cards for hunter, but at least this card helps a little by at very least playable on 3 no matter the situation, unlike Silvermoon Farstrider.
I rate this card because you'll always be mulliganing for your 1 drops, not your arcane spells. So the best hand would likely be more than glad to play this on 3. Probably playable, but wouldn't be too surprised to see it cut off for other less clunky hunter cards.
We'd need a lot more arcane spell support for this legendary to be any good but I'm sure we'll get more eventually. For now though, with just 5 arcane spells in Standard, we'd need a lot more help. This legendary might be good, but we'll just have to wait a bit.
Halduron seems really unexciting, even if he might be fine in practice: do you feel good playing a Spider Tank that doesn't do anything immediately?
What is Halduron doing in this artwork? The background looks like the arcane bolts are raining down, but that's not what the foreground looks like.
Couldn't agree more. Feels like the whole "Arcane Synergy" package is forced.. maybe it'll get better in a few expansion, but for now 3 pairs of spells makes more a slim pack
I'm keeping an eye on this and Silvermoon Farstrider, buffing up Conjured Arrows for later seems very strong, even as limited the arcane spell school overall for Hunter.
I'm not fully certain how good it will be, but if an Arcane Hunter archetype works, this will be a staple for that deck.
Seems pretty good. Buffing spells in your deck is pretty good, because of you have any in hand you probably want to play them and Halduron Brightwing makes it so drawing the arcane spells feels a lot better. Of course the problem with this card is that it's a legendary, so drawing it might be difficult.
I guess it's a good card, given the cost and solid stats too. Not sure if it'll create a brand new archetype, but it might be a nice addition to already existing decks.
