Arcane hasn't always been the best spell school in mage, so this is just an apprentice for an OTK, which is perfectly fine because its predecessor was never used outside of one anyway.
But this is one of those cards that can never be ignored or discounted no matter how useless they are in the current meta. At some point of time some pro will make full use of the card and eventually it'll get its much coveted vote to be nerfed, like all other broken cards do.
I do like how they revealed the full Arcane package at once, making the evident synergy even more obvious.
So Arcane Bolts are essentially played for free ?
The flavor give me so much raising a teenager's vibe:
"If this is the work I'll be doing, maybe I don't want to be just like you someday..."

Not as strong as Sorc's, but I guess it still enables some stuff. At the end of the day it comes down to just how easily you can refill your hand to justify all the spell slinging.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Guess we knew we'd get a spell school specific Sorcerer's Apprentice at some point. Ofc will be a key combo piece in the Arcane Bolt OTK that's already been figured out. Might see play elsewhere though in big spell mage to cast Arcane Defenders

Seeing as Arcane Bolt costs 1, and there are a few ways to get them in your hand, this card should make for some fun times. Not for your opponent of course.
Arcane-only version of Sorcerer's Apprentice. Instant 5 star card, no brainer. 0 cost Arcane spells like Arcane Bolt is good, and i think the Arcane Bolt package might help some kind of Flamewaker mage work again in wild.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Alright card, the application in Arcane OTK Mage is obvious, but I'm curious if it sees play anywhere else.
