I would rate Burden of Pride over this card. Unless there's a good reason for warrior to be flooding board I dont see why this would be played at all.
The upgrade is nice and all, but double 2/4 taunts for a card you need to hold until 6 mana is hardly going to blow anything down in terms of power level. I'd much rather just play this on 2 and get proper board, than wait 4 extra turns.
I think this might see play. This really reminds me of Thorngrowth Sentries but a bit more flexible. This seems decent in control, but maybe too some more aggresive strategies.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Without knowing the details, I believe the main component of this card is its Fire spell school: the expansion reveal stream teased that we would be seeing a Fire Warrior archetype.
I can only guess what that means or how it will come together, but there's gotta be a reason you're okay with playing it later in the game.
Two 2/4 taunts in the mid or late game might not exactly be good, but if you have 2 mana left over, maybe it will slow your opponent down a little bit.
I don't see this being a thing, but maybe the fact that it'S an inexpensive way to defend yourself makes it useful.
At the very least it helps with infusing stuff (but I wouldn't put it in Enrage Warrior right now)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
And it left me sitting here, wondering what "Fire Warrior" might bring to the table ... strange
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I'm going to compare this card to Barricade coz I don't think anyone will be playing this as a Thorngrowth Sentries. Ofc the requirements to match Barricade's effect are vastly different but tbh, I'd still use Barricade over this spell coz it only really gets decent after turn 6.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Thorngrowth Sentries +, seems pretty good to me.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Pretty solid early game card, with the bonus of not being that useless if played later on. I like it!
