Back in Season 1 of our Weekly Card Design Competitions, I came in first place with this:
Granted this was back in April 2020, but Enchanter just took Lothraxion out back and shot him lol. Half the cost, Neutral, and you can run two of them? Craziness :P
So...on paper this is a better Mo'arg because it applies to everything and doesn't affect you.
On the flipside this is a 3-mana Mo'arg (aka post-nerf mo'arg lmao) and it's most likely not sticking around for a turn anyways.
Hard to say if it's better or worse. It's not like MO'arg saw a lot of play outside of Lifesteal DH and a brief cameo in Warlock.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This can be really strong in certain decks and can easily be used as a combo piece. I wouldn't be surprised if someone figures out a really simple combo to pull off with this guy. Should be great fun experimenting and also will be hilarious when generated off of random effects.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Might be a better Mo'arg Artificer in some scenarios, and considering we also got Silvermoon Arcanist i'm suddenly scared that we are going to get a Il'gynoth kinda card this expanion, or in some expansion next year.... plz no blizz.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I could see this being very useful for those situations when you need to kill something or clear a board, but you don't normally have enough damage available to pull it off. Don't expect it to be alive when your next turn comes, though.
Its very likely only ever included for either healing or OTK. The fact is that Mo'arg Artificer is only ever great in those decks and that card costs 2 mana. I can see this in DK for healing, and maybe in dhunter because of the lack of real removal options.
The one upside over its predecessor is that this also include minion damage, so this can help with trading. But I doubt players would include this card in the deck for that sole purpose.
Mo'arg Artificer round 2, but Mo'arg depended on on Il'gynoth for public relevance, AND costed 2. At 3 and fewer combo potential (so far that is), Enchanter is probably only just going in Warlock for extra healing from Drain Soul.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?

Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I like the idea behind this one, might work well with the new Demon Hunter 1 cost spell!
