Alright, this card is interesting in that its basically a neutral Greybough, which done properly can lead to your opponent tearing his hair in frustration. In fact, against certain classes without any silence effects two of these can legitimately checkmate the opponent out of the game.
Probably going to see play only in druid if Im honest, and that's also only because its the only class that can trigger a deathrattle via Hedge Maze for 0 mana. And even then Im sure its a contrivance, doing something for the sake of it.
But the final nail to the coffin is simply because Im sure silence is going to be everywhere next meta, which means this card's viability is about as good as a snowball's chance in hell.
Neutral Greybough but without Taunt meaning it's much easier to deactivate.
Struggling to think of a deck that even wants this but there might be some.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Very interesting card. It's like Greybough but at the same time it works very different.
Greybough was hard to remove because of its taunt, and thus was a lot stickier. But because of that it did not have the greatest aggresive stats.
Infectious Ghoul is easier to remove because it's just stats, but because of that it's a lot more aggresively statted.
So despite the fact that those 2 look very similar, their also quite different. But what does that mean for Infectious Ghoul? I think it still is a good minion, and some aggresive decks probably play it as well. I can easely see this in DK decks, because of additional corpse generation, and the fact that DK has a bunch of Reborn minions. Imagine Infectious Ghoul landing on Malignant Horror... "Everyone, get in here" once the horrors die.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Without taunt, your opponent will have an easier time ignoring this minion but it's still 5 damage that's possibly infinite. I doubt any class will want to play this aside from DK. It'll be a good minion if summoned off The Scourge though.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Basically Greybough without taunt, and not limited to Druids. Without the taunt, it would be a lot easier to kill this last, so it can't pass on its deathrattle. Though with that attack, you probably will need to kill it soon, even if you don't have the resources to kill everything.
If this is played consistently, then everyone will tech in some silence too, as its the only way to get rid of something so pesky!
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
There's potential for Bomb Rogue to use this, but then again a good all at once clear gets rid of this.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Sticky card, but not too sure how it'd end up being used. Might end up just being played in Arena.
