Is this not just kind of broken? Assuming this just combines your attack and armor total into two fat taunts meaning that playing double Plating at 6-mana gives you double 8/8s on turn 7.

    How is that fair exactly?

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

I'm wondering if it makes a difference between gaining Attack and gaining Armor; as in, does gaining Attack improve the Quilboar's Attack, while the Armor increases their Health? Then you would need to balance it out if you want double 8/8s.

That would actually make sense. Not very intuitive and the wording would be crap, but that's just par for the course I guess.

Honestly, that's the only way I could see them printing this at 7-mana, I hope you're correct.

After watching the Video (which I should have done from the get go) it appears you are entirely corrrect, which makes the card a lot less busted, but still very scary (putting massive taunts in the way while you hammer them with hero power attacks is good enough)

So is the minions' attack tied to the hero's attack and the health tied to the armor? Since you would only have 3 mana to spend gaining attack or armor, I don't see how you could get anything that big from this. Unfortunately for this card, Armorsmith + Whirlwind are Warrior cards.

It'll see play, but its not your win-con nor is it ever going to do more than block aggro decks.

The thing about this card is that its entirely dependent on you upgrading your hp to respectable levels and then play a Tour Guide to set it up on 6.

Yes you get two very big burly quillboars with taunt, but as we have seen time and again, most aggro decks would have long beaten your face to a pulp by then and midrange decks tend to be able to handle big dudes, if they havent already beaten your face to a pulp by the time you play this.

Wont see it anywhere outside of hp druid, which is just as well because its completely trash otherwise.

That is indeed kinda scary - but because it requires a proper set up - it will often fumble into just two whatever to medium size taunts.

Despite having only 3 digits on each hand, Zok plays Bass like he has 5.

This seems pretty good if you can set it up correctly, but that's the problem. How difficult is it to setup a decent fogsnout? Fogsnout + basic hero power (So just +1/+1) = 7 mana Cenarius. (With the summon option) But that either requires 9 mana total, making it just Cenarius... Or you have to spend a total of 8 mana (fogsnout + Tour Guide), so a 1 mana discount in the WORST case scenario. Of course it gets better with all the Hero power upgrades, and discounted spells that give your hero Atk/Armor.

Overall, it seems a bit clunky to setup. At worst it's either a 7 mana 6/6 do nothing, or it's Cenarius, which hasn't seen play in quite a long time. At average it will probably summon about 3/3 or 4/4 ish taunts, which doesn't sound that good considering all the setup it needs.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

Ironically, the Hero Power Druid deck might not be the best performing place for this card, but in a Anub deck to make a pair of giant taunts that few aggro decks can get around. Or they're the same deck, and this is just the nuts.
