Its thus far the only silence option for shadow decks, and its discoverable from Sister Svalna, making priest just a little more unbearable with their myriad discovers.
But seriously. Shard of the Naaru is still in standard so what chance does this card really have outside of discovers?
Dealing damage antisinergizes with priest's identity of silencing your own minions (Does that still exist?), and paying 1 mana as priest to silence one minion looks disapointing if you remember Silence. Even Earth Shock it's better card!
I think that rogue it's the only one that can take profit of this card at this moment, 1 mana spell that can deal with sticky minions will be "ok" for slow/miracle rogue decks.
Hmm combo card, so it can be generated in combo rogue. hm..
Rogue: Probably wont run it despite the fact that it's a combo card. You will see it generated a bunch though.
Priest: Maybe Shadow priest might experiment with it, but probably won't make the cut. In non-shadow decks why ever run this when you already have Shard of the Naaru?
Honestly why did they make a Earth Shock (Which already saw no play), add 1 damage AND add a condition?!? Wait a second... Taking bad cards, adding a small number buff + a condition... Did the person that was in charge of designing warrior cards create this?
