3 mana is expensive for a Sap effect, but Sap was broken, so can see play for 3 in a 2/1 body. :D
It looks great, and then you noticed that its an outcast card and that significantly makes the card worse, or at very least inconsistent.
Basically speaking, if this is in your deck you'll likely end up sapping stuff that would normally not be considered big targets, because there's no chance its kept in hand just for particular targets.
But for what it does its likely dhunter will still be playing it in some capacity. Probably mostly off felerin. Rogue likely never needs this, they just have better removal options, if that is needed at all. We're long gone past days where Voidlord would instantly win games on its own.
Hmm. Sap is currently not in the core set, so this is the only way for DH and Rogue (That i can think of) to return an enemy minion back into your opponents hand. But 3 mana for a sap effect + fulfill it's condition seems kinda... Slow? Also i never thought i would say this, but... Do we NEED Sap effects right now? Most decks rn are aggresive, and most slower decks don't really play big bulky taunts or anything. And minions they do play are often the ones that you DON'T want your opponent to play multiple of. (Example: You don't want to Sap cards like Patchwerk.)
This card seems kinda meh to me. BUT we will see this card plenty of times when facing DH, because of Illidari Studies.
Rogue probably won't play this too much.
