My starting question: what is Gold Rush asking us to do? It says "Strike gold with Gold Panner" so I tried it in a deck with plenty of golden cards, but either this one is bugged or it does not mean "use Gold Panner to draw a golden card".
Have you gotten this one to work?

I originally thought the Gold Panner had to draw a golden card, too, although that would be very mean to F2P people or players who burn them for the dust. Maybe he has to live long enough? I think he says something different every turn, implying he's getting closer to the gold.
I got this achievement, but I'm not sure how. I think I got it the second time he drew me a card, so maybe you have to draw 2 cards? Or it might depend on the type of card. The suggestion of drawing a golden card makes sense, but I don't usually use golden cards, so it probably wasn't that.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Might just be "draw a Legendary with Gold Panner".
The achievement happens when the drawn card turns golden. At least that's what happened to me. At the time i thought it was when drawing a legendary because "orange gem is close enough to gold i guess" but I drew a normal common card that became golden and the quest triggered.
Maybe it's because it was the second card I drew from the same Gold Panner, maybe the card drawn has a chance of becoming golden, I don't know, but that's what happened.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Just read this and tried the achivement. Got it on the first draw with a potion of madness becoming golden. So it might be 100% RNG based.
Edit: I will add this just in case it mattered. But I got a golden panner from a golden elise I played. It was one of the 4 minions summoned.
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
I got it when I drew a legendary.
Definitely not when drawing golden cards. Maybe it is just a random chance.

I got it on a non-Legendary card, it did turn gold in the drawing process, and I think it was the second card Lil Dude managed to draw.
Onward to summoning Bovine Skeletons!
Its likely to be random. But I can confirm that he cant turn your golden cards gold so to get this achievement you'd need to have a deck of normal cards and lots of luck because he'll likely never survive past the turn hes played.
I got mine in a freak accident. Had a whole deck of gold cards except for nozdormu and wouldn't you know it, he turned my noz gold and gave me that achievement.
It seems like there's some uncertainty about the specific conditions for the "Gold Rush" achievement in Badlands. Some players got it when the drawn card turned golden, while others got it with a Legendary card or a normal card becoming golden. It might be RNG-based, so keep experimenting and good luck with your achievement hunting! whether you're looking for motivation, helpful criticism, or just to lose yourself in a well-written story.
