What Are You Playing? - Dynamic December 2025

We've already at December of this year. Holy shit.

What are you playing?

Because of family circumstances, we decided to open presents on Thanksgiving instead of Christmas to accommodate everyone's travel plans. With that, I got a lot of PS5 games. I'm currently playing Ghost of Yotei.

Other games I got in my presents were The Outer Worlds 2, Death Stranding 2, Horzion Forbidden West, and F1 25. It might be a while before I truly get to them though, haha.

  • Hey! Been mute a few weeks as I was on my honeymoon and with tons of work.

Also after a decade, I decided to stop playing Hearthstone as It started asking for more and more of my daily diminishing time. Wich is making me leave games that want me to play daily.

(As A side note, I LOVE the New website look btw)

As I was travelling I got to use my switch 2 quite a bit. Played through Silksong, Age of Imprisionment and Pokemon Legends ZA. (Hoping the New DLC is great after the nice and terrible events we had. (Diance and Mewtwo in that order)

On PC I am currently playing Expedition 33 and I see why It gets so much recognition. It is an amazing game since the very start and It only gets better. (I was able to go in totally blind so that makes It better. If you know you know)

As soon as I finish It, I Will probably take a closer look at the skills 2.0 update for Payday 3 wich looks great and Will surelly go back to AC ODyssey While also playing DK Bananza.

  • Merry Christmas everyone!

Even if you don't celebrate the holiday, I hope you have a great day today.

  • I am officially a Stardew Valley player now.

  • Escape From Tarkov has been at the forefront of my gaming since I built my new PC - you know just maximizing my RAM usage. The Winter event so far has been great fun and the 1.0 release has been strong. I posted some content about the game here on Out of Games and its been doing well for organic traffic so I'll be continuing to do so. I['ve been grinding super hard the past week during the winter event just to make sure I'm ready for whatever they throw at us so I can keep up with the content asap, which has been a fun way to approach the game.

Outside of Escape From Tarkov, things have been a bit quieter the second half of December, and I expect the same for the first week or so of January so I've also started a fresh run of Schedule I, not having played the past 2 major content updates. I also finally got my Fanatec Formula racing wheel setup again and configured to my liking so I'm expecting to go for some racing laps soon in Assetto Corsa and F1 25 (the latter of which Demon gifted me, too kind).

I do need to jump onto WoW and get my Traveler's Log done, and maybe mess around on Legion Remix a bit more too. I've logged in to check out the new housing mechanics and honestly, it's cool but it's a glorified tech preview at this point. I know they have more updates arriving in the pre expansion patch and that they'll be doing more stuff to it during Midnight, and I definitely know that this was a monumental effort from the WoW development team to get it working at all, but it's still too early stage for me to truly devote the time to having fun with it. They need to add more trophy kind of content to the game. Let me put the Lich King's helm on the wall and put my earliest kill date on it so my visitors can see when I put him to rest. Allow for importing and exporting of content in chunks/prefabs so we can make external programs to build out of game. It'll all come with time, I'm sure.

I'm glad to see Demon that you've joined the Stardew fam. The game is absolutely marvelous and when it made its debut, before all of its wild additions, it was a better game than anything in the Harvest Moon series which kept putting out junk after junk. Now though, it's such a large game and even though there is a lot of repetitive and grindyness to it, I love Stardew Valley so much and love going back to it every couple of years.
