On Wild often you don't want a card from your opponenet deck, but considering that the only Priest's archetype actually going around is (again) Big Priest you simply don't want a 2/2 with a battlecry.

On a non-resurrect deck, it still a bit too much situational for the Wild meta but may be good in a control vs control scenario (probably if you also are an Highlander and have an open slot to put this in).

Curious Glimmerroot but you have a better idea of what's in their hand right at this moment. Glimmerroot saw play; I'm sure this will as well.

Looks like a pretty powerful tool. You get some information about what is your opponent (not) hodling and you can potentially get a card.

    Maybe in Control-Priest?

It's weaker than Lazul though. And what are you gonna do with a Card that most-likely doesn't fit into your deck/Game plan anyway?

Fun to combo with lazul self but otherwise it could be kinda hard knowing which card your opponent exactly has in their hands and the question is is the card your getting even worth gaining?

Versus zoo warlock for example getting a flame imp just ruins your day more most likely.

In other match ups it could fare better an warrior holding on to a brawl is usually a pretty easy giveaway.

A bit disappointed, the effect isn't new. Hoped for a bit more originality from them. Gameplay wise this is probably just Curious Glimmerroot powercreep. It's a value effect so better if it costs less mana and copying from hand is usually better than from deck.

    I'll boop you

A little tougher than Glimmerroot to activate, but also gives you more relevant information. I like it.

I really liked the plant that did the same with the opponents deck. Need some luck, but the card is great.

If this takes hand buffs into account it will be easy to find the card but if it doesn't it might be a bit harder but I feel like most of the time you'll get the card due to archetypes

A bit weird, but I think I’d prefer Lazul for the guaranteed card and more information, even if this costs 1 less.0

Who needs consistency when you could have fun?

Curious Glimmerroot and Madam Lazul long lost child. Still, really decent stats for its cost and knowing what your opponent is always nice. All this card needs now is a viable archetype to fit in. Currently priest doesn't play such decks.

I think it's a little better than Glimmerroot, so the power level is enough high to see play.
The problem is there's no current Priest archetype that want to play it.
Hope to see Control Priest or Dragon Priest reborn from ashes.

If it works like Curious Glimmerroot (meaning you get 1 card from opponents hand and 2 random nonsense cards ) you will copy a card pretty much everytime. Problem is, even with Galakrond, what is your win condition as a Control Priest? Fatigue? Inner fire?

Don’t guess what your opponent has, necessarily. Check if he/she is holding a big removal/ control (if that’s a given option

I think it's a solid card to play in reno decks, but I'm not sure if the deck has room for it.

Imagine getting a quest (yes, glimmerroot used to present them as an option sometimes; dunno if this is still the case). Well, I was hoping my Steal Priest deck would get some support. Can't wait to give this bad boy a try.

A cheaper reprint ofCurious Glimmerroot. A card that replaces itself is always good (although this is situational and only a 33.3% chance) and with the value-generation theme Priest seems to be getting (i.e. Priest Galakrond's hero power) and Priest's ability to board control, this card might fit the best in Control Priest, or even a minion-focused Thief Priest deck that utilizes Princess Talanji

    Well it's over

    'sort of' budget Lazul

If you guess it right, then the value would be pretty decent 2/2 + a card is pretty gud

A very good card but it depends heavily on the support priest gets this expansion. A different archetype would have to emerge to fit this in I think, I don't see it either in combo or resurrect priest.

Ohhh this one is very interesting, and I think it´s going to see play. It´s better than Glimmerroot, because you get a guaranteed info about which card is in your opponent´s hand at the moment. I like this card.

I'm usually the one that guesses it all wrong during these reveals, and seeing as many of the comments are negative, and I just rated this a 5-star card, I might continue to do so... But, like, how could a 2-mana, (possible) card generator, which gives you information about your oppoent's hand be bad?! To me, it's an excellent 2-drop, specially for priest, who lacks in decent 2-cost cards...

The strength of this card depends on where the AI gets the two "wrong" options,

    • if it's from the opponents deck- it would be difficult to guess and you would not get value 66% of the time
    • if it's from all the pool of cards that can possibly be in your opponents deck-  it would probably be as good as Lazul or Glimmeroot

Given that you'll likely get your opponent's finisher as a card in your hand, it's decent enough a card for control priest.

Just too slow for mid-range or aggro, unless you get real lucky.

Overall well designed card with a high skill ceiling. Can't wait for some pro plays and 'best time to use' guides for this card.

The card is going to be harder to guess than Glimmerroot, but it's a 2-drop that you can play on turn 2 reliably. Can't say the same about many other Priest 2-drops.

Not a bad card, but I don't think it fits any specific archetype (similar to Madame Lazul does now).

People always seem to overvalue this kind of effect. Both Chameleos and Lazul received a bunch of hype and look at their situation: pretty much hopeless. Information from your opponent's hand shouldn't matter if you are always analyzing the meta (or at least reads some meta reports on occasion). You already know what decks people are playing, what cards they are running and should always have a general idea of what they could be holding. That's why Chameleos and Lazul doesn't work. Because sniping your opponent's hand isn't a big deal if you already have an idea of what they are doing.

Also a random card from your opponent's hand isn't a good source of value because the cards they have won't help you achieve your win condition most of the time. So this card is basically a 2/2 that gives a chance to obtain something random from your opponent that most likely won't help you. Seems like a meme to me. And a bad one.

I love seeing obscure Warcraft monsters getting some representation. This is a Merciless one, WoW's take on a brain squid. It also looks quite similar to Mindbender Ghur'sha, one of the bosses from Throne of the Tides.

Lazul is also recruiting and giving fortune-telling lessons? That's cool !

Jokes aside, I always like to play stealing cards with Priest, Like how I like to play Burgle Rogue.

Madame Lazul was a perfect card in my opinion. That's not better but still useful. Don't misunderstand me, it is not to play my opponent's cards I like about, it is to know what threats i will face in time.

Better than other steal cards imo. Because it says you what card you will face in 1-3 turns unlike other stealing cards even you can't obtain it. That's what I like about Madame Lazul.

Her fortune-telling is one of the best in Azeroth !

[Hearthstone Card (Curious Glimmerroot) Not Found] saw some Decent play so pretty sure this will,  and even if it draws the "Wrong" cards from the opponents deck, it gives knowledge of what else is in their deck. I see it as a Win/Win card myself.

So it's kind of like a 2 mana 2/2 with the potential to cast Mind Vision and it lets you know that your opponent doesn't have 2 cards in their hand. This seems pretty good, since if you compare it to something like Novice Engineer it has very high stats for a minion that has a fairly high chance to draw a card.

I think it will be pretty easy to determine your opponents card once the meta settles even a little. I don’t think it’s going to be hard choices. Maybe like 1 class specific and 2 neutrals

So this card is absolutely broken, it advantages all archetypes both in the early and late game.

Most likely a clutch late-game play for a Control deck stealing the likes of Zuljin or Boom.

I doubt this card will see much play outside pf Galakrond’s hero power generating it. Outside of maybe a Highlander Priest or Thief Priest, I doubt this card will get included into anything.

It has a much more useful battlecry than the Glimmeroot did, and it will definitely help ypu to play around certain cards, but I doubt the effect is worth running in any deck

It's more of a gamble than Curious Glimmerroot because your opponent doesn't necessarily have an early play and it's hard to make an educated guess. I'm guessing the pool of cards is still all possible cards so you should be able to rule out the cards you know they don't play in their deck, at least.

This is actually a very interesting card. Hearthstone is a game where half the time the cards you play aren't the cards in your deck, so your opponent will be able to see, 'ah, he discovered a dragon earlier, maybe he has this dragon'. Guessing your opponents hand isn't very hard, most of the time you will have a pretty good guess as to what they are playing. I don't think this card will be as consistent as Curious Glimmerroot because you can't guess cards you have already seen played. But this card will without a doubt be in most priest decks that care about an early board.

Well stated card but it all comes down to priest having a deck that this can fit in. Stuff like rez preist can't afford to run it and I don't think inner fire is really looking at this and wanting it. Seems like it's just gonna go in any deck that [Hearthstone Card (madam lazul) Not Found] would go into which currently doesn't really exist but the chance of something like galakrond control priest coming around could be the home of it.

This seems fine, but its hugely meta and match up dependent. If Galakrond decks are good, this will be great, more invokes or other classes Galakronds. IDK how invoke works if you have 3 Galakronds from different classes in your hand, but it seems like it could be bonkers. Otherwise this card is as situational as any. Playing it early means you have way more cards to see so picking the one that is from their hand is easier, but it also means that you have a higher chance of it picking a card that has little to no impact. Much like Curious Glimmerroot its all about the match up.

I don't think there's a downside to this card. 2-mana 2/2 that gives you the chance to get a copy of your opponent's card, and if you guess wrong, you'll have an idea what could be in their hand at least. Solid card.

I wish this card had the text "steal" instead of "copy". Then it would work as a strong tech card (if you get it right). If you play it on turn 2, then you likely have to guess a card the other player would keep in mulligan.

I hope they will make some sort of steal card in the future..

You normally do try to hand track anyway.. So you might as well know for sure what they have and get it.. Do the other 2 options are card in the enemy deck or random? Cause if random it's easier to guess..

VS galakrond priest you might fail a lot, vs Lackey decks you will probably get those lackeys since the random cards are probably collectible.

A little worse Glimmerroot. Curious Glimmerroot was better because he was showing a card which fit to enemy deck archetype and 2 which doesn't. Pretty easy guess. Envoy of Lazul can show you 3 cards from enemy deck archetype but actually only one could be in his hand, so it's guessing. Also choices can be misleading if enemy used some card generators before (like piniata). Still, even with bad quess u will know that enemy doesn't have this card in hand (and have 1 of other choices).

What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?

Compared to Glimmerroot this is hard to use since technically there is a possibility it show you a card that's in their deck but not in their hand right now, whereas Glimmerroot was obvious most of the time, given that it would show you 2 cards that nobody puts in their deck.

This feels like another Chameleos/Lazul. It's good, but is it really worth putting into a deck? Such a shame too, because I like the spying mechanic, but Priest just doesn't have an archetype core strong enough to allow you to run a bunch of meme cards for the novelty factor and still win.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

I'm usually the one that guesses it all wrong during these reveals, and seeing as many of the comments are negative, and I just rated this a 5-star card, I might continue to do so... But, like, how could a 2-mana, (possible) card generator, which gives you information about your oppoent's hand be bad?! To me, it's an excellent 2-drop, specially for priest, who lacks in decent 2-cost cards...

that'S what they said about Chameleos and Madam Lazul and have you ever seen those in a deck?

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

Not good at choosing with reveal cards (to my surprise). To call it powerful, meeh it's nothing more then playable imo I prefer a Madam Lazul and get a card straight away over revealing

Very bad card like Lazul, best thing about it - it s 2 drop possible playble singleton Priest deck coz you need some cards (Glimerroot played in this type of deck, but been replaced coz of too greedy and useless vs aggro), but his effect even worse than Glimmerroot, Glimer was 19 out of 20 you draw a copy of enemy card. here, idk, it will be harder and ofc it s slow as Lazul.

As priest player can say - playble but unlikely.

It's actually impossible to guess in late game but eary on you can guess which card the opponent could have mulliganed for. But in late game its really 1/3 chance

Dont seems too good, but with the new galakrond deck's its easy to get a invoke cards or galakrond itself..  maybe with this u can transform in 3 different galakrond in one game.. a lucky game of course

I am not a huge fan of curious glimmerroot, and this seems just exactly the same. I reckon it will be a rather niche card and not an auto include.

Its a really good card but much more difficult to get the draw then Curious Glimmerroot because all 3 cards can be in the op deck but only one in hand.

Extremely useful regardless of if you successfully choose or not. A more immediate Glimmerroot

We have to wait and see if some sort of control priest becomes a meta deck, because that's the only deck this MIGHT see play.

    I, personally, don't like it.

Decent enough to get information about your opponent. The stats are not bad for a 2 drop either.

I like more support for Thief Priest! Expect this will see more play in Wild than Standard, though I'm sure it will pop up a lot in Galakrond Priest decks from the Invoke/Hero Power whether people want it or not, so will be interesting to see if it has enough of an impact to make its way into constructed decks.

I really liked Curious Glimmerroot and will probably shoehorn this as well into a deck or two. It probably won't strenghten the deck, bur I will use it anyway.

Am I stupid for thinking this is a pack filler? It's decent but nothing special and doesn't really do much for excisting Priest decks.

It IS Mindbender Ghur'sha, it's the same artwork (remastered, I believe) of a portrait of it with Erunak Stonespeaker.

All in all, there's ton of Old God going on in this expansion.

Curious Glimmerroot but it comes down earlier and also gives you intel on their hand - seems ridiculously good.

As others have mentioned, the strength of this card depends on the source of the two wrong options. If it works like Curious Glimmerroot, then it'll give Priest flexibility and value. I hope it does!

For god knows what reason, it only shows cards that started in the opponent's deck. This almost makes it a 1/3 chance of a card.

Mindbender Ghur'sha is green, while this guy is purple. I that seems deliberate, although having it be the same host body is a fun touch

Well, yeah, in game it is green, but I want to believe this is not a simple merciless one!

Since we got Octosari, I want Ozumat or Julak-Doom controlling a giant, but I would settle with Ghur'sha.

Not strong as Curious Glimmerroot because all the cards that you'll see are in your opponent's deck, so obtaining a card from this will be random most of the time, especially if played on curve. That said, knowing what your opponent have in his hand and what is not is a good information. I like this card very much, even if I don't think is that good

I can see this being good if Galakrond decks are extremely popular, and I’m someone that sees potential in Galakrond Priest. This will be one of the few ways of potentially getting more Invoke cards without sacrificing too much tempo by using spells to steal cards.

Pretty decent two drop. I might try it if I have the room for it. I'm hoping one of the reveals for priest involves card draw... it'd be nice to finally ditch the pyromancer/acolyte shenanigans to free up some room

If you are aiming at getting a card, this is a worse Curious Glimmerroot since you would normaly get a selection of 3 cards, 2 that did not help the opponents deck and then 1 that does which would be an easy pick. This time you get 2 cards that are in your opponents deck and one that is in their hand.  It seems quite hard to be able to choose the right card, especially since this is a 2 mana card and you might want to get the tempo like we had with Curious Glimmerroot.

On the other hand, if you are aiming at gaining information, this is far superior than Curious Glimmerroot since you get to see 3 cards that your opponent decided to put in their deck.

And hey, if you really want to increase the odds at getting the card, you could play this after Madame Lazul.

    More dragons? Yes please!

This went from very interesting, and definitely strong enough to play, to really quite awful in the blink of an eye (that blink of an eye being when I read the twitter post and saw the actual mechanics ... yeah, guess which one they are holding right now ... or perhaps you'd like to spin a roulette wheel for a better chance of getting your money's worth?) The fact that all three choices are in their deck means this is slightly better than utter garbage. It's a 2/2 for 2 with a 33% chance to get a card off it. At epic quality. No thanks.

[Hearthstone Card (Curious Glimmerroot) Not Found] was only in some decks at one point of the meta..I don't see this card being THAT effective in standard. This will be very strong in Arena.

so since we now have confirmation that all the cards shown are actually from the opponent's deck, this is basically useless.

You can't actually predict what they will have in hand, and if you pick wrong you'll still have to guess the 50/50 to figure out which card they actually have in hand.

And even if you do all that, what's the point? Priest doesn't play the midrange game where they would have to play around removal or boardclears.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

Yes just found this out too.  This just kills the card in my opinion.  OK gives you limited information with a chance of a copy, but is that worth running this in a priest deck?

    All generalizations are false.

The only thing that I like about this card is art, unfortunately.

The effect is already seen, but this time confusingly worded. The effect is not good enough for constructed, you will likely fail to guess, and even if you get it right, it's probably not impactful enough. Unless you get something really good for your strategy (which you usually will try to), but that should happen rare. Body is really bad in priest, since you can hardly heal this.

Don't think it's quite playable compared to other new cards, but it's cheaper version of Curious Glimmerroot, so its much better and comes online faster.

I like priest's weird cards with epic tags, I will play them just for fun. Hopefully priest gets more weird cheap cards just because I love it with their new mechanics.

As said before this card is Curious Glimmerroot reincarnation with some tweaks. I like these tricky priest cards =) Right now It's a situational card and i don't think it will be played a lot. But i believe it'll be played much more after 3 expansions rotate out in April. In a new Hearthstone year a 2 drop will help against aggro and can possibly give you a copy of a strong card in a contol matchup. Ofc it's only my guesses.

So this card could be extremely difficult to actually guess correctly.

I believe it was confirmed that the two wrong choices will pull from a pool of cards which are in the opponents deck, but not in hand. This could make it extremely difficult to correctly guess the card in hand, and because of this I don't think this will see any play like Curious Glimmerroot did.

More Mimic Priest Support, which the archetype had some way to reduce the cost of copied cards to be barely viable. Anyways is a decent cardto obtain through Galakrond's Hero Power

Very similar to Curious Glimmerroot, still harder to trigger since there are a lot of ways for your opponent to gain in his hands randomly generated cards.

I have a hard time believing this card will be good, even compared to Curious Glimmerroot.
It's has less impact later in the game and you have to guess against randomly generated cards sometimes, too.
The information could be helpful, but I'm just not seeing the appeal.

Like Curious Glimmerroot in competive play this is 2 mana 2/2 obtain a card and information on 75%. The only downside of this card are empty hands and the "random generate card" to guess.

Probably in the next meta will be only good in mirror match

Unclear what bucket of cards it selects from. I think to work the best, it would select the wrong choices from cards that are in your opponents deck, but not their hand.

On the first sight, this is an interesting effect. But since the two other cards are still in the opponents deck, it will be hard to gues the correct card. In my opinion, Curious Glimmerroot was way stronger than this card.

After watching some gameplay it seems like it'll be fairly difficult to get the card every time, which obviously makes the card a lot weaker. Information is power, but it may not be enough.

Curious Glimmerroot saw play, but it was never a staple or key card in any deck. Doubtful that this will fare any better. People always overvalue the “look in your opponent’s hand” mechanic too. People kept crowing about Chameleos and Lazul being OP and they turned out to be average to the point of uselessness.

You see, the difference between this and Curious Glimmerroot, Madame Lazul and Chameleos is that those guys always (or almost always, if we're talking about Glimmerroot) give you a card, not just info on your opponent. This 3 out of 4 times doesn't. I really don't understand why it can't look at a card from hand and any 2 random cards, like Curious Glimmerroot, since that would be a completely fair powercreep and it's not like they haven't powercreeped any cards this expansion.

It's a good card that fits on curve on a Thief Priest with Galakrond and Princess Talanji. If you play it on curve it'll be easier to guess the card. If your opponent have lots of cards it'll be more difficult.

Close relative to Curious Glimmerroot but I don't believe it will be played  (maybe in some highlander decks). Guessing card from hand is much harder than from deck (especially with this much of random card generation) and value is not good enough. Even correctly guessed card can be useless trash and very similar Madame Lazul is not played at all.

    Fun and interactive game.

A worse [Hearthstone Card (Curious Glimmeroot) Not Found] because the cards you have to choose from started all 3 from in your opponent deck so you will mostly hope to be right with this card.
