Token decks might like it, but the statline is awful. 1-attack means you can readily kill it without much loss. I think I would rather play Onyxia.
Interesting... Your opponent has do deal with the tokens OR shuma itself. Maybe its hard to do both. Can be snowbally, but not a safecraft.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
I can see it being solid AOE bait for some control decks and Druid and Shaman can take major advantage of it if not dealt with.
Do Token/Aggro Decks really want a 7 mana 1 Attack Minion? Don't think so.
Also, you can't buff the Tokens right away, so they can be easily removed.

Definitely one of the weirder legendaries we’ve seen, I will admit though, I kind of like it. End of turn makes it awkward to use though.9
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
I would say this is better than Onyxia, since in a token deck I would trade 7 attack on 1 minion for ability to summon multiple boards everytime.
This deck is cool. Play it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I mean, yeah, you could play this in any savage roar/bloodlust deck, as a final push, in case you are stuck with those cards in hand and an empty board.
But realistically speaking, the best use I can see for this is a funny knife juggler combo, or in wild with that card that gives divine shield to 1 attack minions.
The card's saving grace is that shamans wont hate to get it from evolve effects.
Still, 5 memes out of 7.
Maybe good in big shaman with muckmorpher
-nod
Expect this card on Trolden
I mean, unless the tentacles do something its pretty weak. since its end of turn you have to take opponent's board your board and what they might have into account. On average I think you'll get around 6-4 tentacles depending on what you have already. It might fit into the hunter quest though since it combos with the roar and summons some to fulfill the quest. I feel like this card will get a rework of some kind later in the Expac
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Possibly good in token decks, but I'm not sure .. Looks a bit annoying btw, I hope I'm wrong about this.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
It seems a nice neutral legendary for Token decks!
Shaman and Druid are grateful.
Can be potentially played in Divine Spirit Decks because High Priest Amet would give this insane value. It's a fun combo but seems unlikely.
Take my words with a grain of salt. I'm unranked and only play casuals lmao.
Unseal the Vault
This barely trades into anything.
1 more mana and you would have the same effect on a common + 6 attack
Interesting design
And the award for weirdest Hearthstone card goes to.......
I don´t see this one working out, but it´s true that it´s statline, especially the 7 health is quite annoying, that it´s not easy to remove it with an AoE while clearing the tokens
The only thought that came to mind when is saw this card is how sad its going to be if you open it. Why ever play this over Onyxia unless you really need token generators but this still seems so bad.
I'm calling it now that a card will be printed that reduces opponent minion attack by 1 as long as its in play.
5 stars because I'll likely get this as my first legendary
I won't be too quick to judge this card as trash just yet. After all, people underestimated Giggling Inventor which turned out to be OP at 5 mana 1/2 summon 2/4 in stats with two Divine Shields. This is 7 mana 1/7 summon 6/6 in stats every turn?
Interesting card - probably meme but sure someone will manage to make it work at least once :)
All generalizations are false.
A refilling Onyxia. It looks like a Warlock card. It might fit into Zoolock, but I see it fitting more into a Facelock deck using Blood Troll Sapper, or a Handbuff Warlock deck with Spirit of the Bat
Well it's over
Seems like a slower and weaker Violet Wurm, but could be decent with Unleash the Vault.
It's like a neutral Hir'eek, the Bat, I don't think this will see play.
Quest Hunter might use this, can't think of anything else realistic atm.
Gosh dang it, cards bad.
You think this card is bad? Well, then let me “change your mind...”
This ain't no place for a hero
Im going to go out and say this is the best minion that flood the board in the 7-9 mana range but dont know if its playable
Maybe it works for Zoolock, but it's very slow. If it were demons it would be great but tentacles ... Maybe with Spirit of the Bat on board and you buff your hand.
Also, if you play token Druid and use Power of the Wild with Vargoth on the board what goes first?
So this is an [Hearthstone Card (Onixia) Not Found], but without the tribe, without being able to buff/sacrifice the tokens on the turn it's played, and with low enough attack that it will very likely die the next turn. Help me figure out what I'm missing. Or is this the next Griftah?
I'm on the Fence with this one, while a Token deck would love the Minion generation, it does seem fairly easy to remove from the field. If it had 1 less mana cost, or a better P/H balance than 1/7 it would be a solid card.
*Crystology approves*
The nice thing is, you can refresh the board over and over if this isn’t killed right away. I like that it’s 7 health for that reason.
Of course it's not going to last for 2 turns and even if it does it's too expensive.
So strong. A must-include for wide board strats and a decent top-deck and pushy Aggro.
Demands an immediate answer and when dropped after a few waves of zoo/Aggro minions your opponent will need to have a lot of answers to stay above water.
7/13 for 7 mana isn't so bad, is it?
You cannot skip your sadhana. N.M.
What if you play a deck that wants 2x Onyxia, Violet Wurm can be silenced/sapped.
Kind of underwhelming for me. Really hope it's not a legendary I open!
The card doesn't fit my playstyle so I can't evaluate efficiently. Might be good or not, really can't say anything but truth is I don't want this card.
After I complete all cards, I can reconsider if i want it or not tho. :)
Even it appears in a tier S or tier 1 deck, I won't craft it.
But liked the art tbh. I always like ugly monsters.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
This is a very interesting card and I am not sure exactly what to do with it.
You could play it with High Priest Amet to make a bunch of 1/7's. You could use it with [Hearthstone Card (blessing of ancients) Not Found] or Savage Roar as another out for token druids. Or you could try and make something happen with [Hearthstone Card (Troll sapper) Not Found] in warlock, or unseal the vault in hunter.
Keep in mind that this guy will continue to sprout more minions every turn, so this is not just a smaller Onyxia.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I think it' good on Quest Hunter. Other than that, it is kind of bad.
Seems too slow for token decks, I'm not impressed.
Really unsure of this, but i THINK it's pretty good. The 1 attack of course is super weak, but 7 is high enough health that it might be able to be dealt with right away. Anything that generate endless waves of tokens has to be half decent though, I think it finds a home somewhere
My thoughts went to Hir'eek too, but more like a mandatory nerf to the 7 and 8 mana minion pool
I know evolve rotates out but ... still
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
This card seems awesome in so many decks. Its not blow you out of the water powerful on its own but in the right decks its a game ender. Awesome build around, going to be a ton of fun to win games with this.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
This is probably better than it looks. We will see.
-=alfi=-
If this becomes even remotely close to a meta defining card, I’m running Gonk Druid for the memes and the giggles.
That being said, could be a scary card with High Priest Amet, looking forward to seeing how it’s played and what other cards may support it that we haven’t seen yet
Maybe viable with savage roar or bloodlust? But 1/1s are really week. Odd paladin though...
Don't really like it, the 7 health might keep it around an extra turn, but we need need a reason to run it.
Something for token druid og maybe shaman.
Holy shit this card is such a monster for win-more decks
Token druid would probably use this, it's hard to deal with if ahead and not that bad from behind, on that deck you need to deal with the tokens AND a 7 hp body for 7 mana it's like Onyxia but 2 mana cheaper, and repeatable.
I give it 5 stars because of the potential in token druid and other zoo -board buff decks
Better than Onyxia, but still not very good, bad thing - board will come only at the end of your turn, you can t buff them. But can possibly playble as another board fill like 8 mana a lot of treants druid spell, yes, spell is better, but hardest thing vs this type of decks clear them, if you have a lot of board fills it s possible to win even with bad minions but with a lot of them. As i said, bad, but playble in specific deck
Nasty card, but kept in check by its cost.
Probably comparable to The Forest's Aid. But Neutral (so some classes may suddenly abuse it).
will probably see play in quest hunter and druids will love this. Other then that I don't see use in it
I'm not online it's just your imagination
I'm trying hard to find a place for this, but I can't
as turn 7 play it's incredibly weak. You can't buff the tokens immediately so your opponent will always have only 1/1s to deal with and at the end, how hard is it to kill a 1/7 at turn 7?
Quest HUnter doesn't need it, Token Druid doesn't want it, Warlock needs much better and Shaman has enough already.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Quest hunter Likes this.
It's not just about the stats, it's much easier to deal with 1/1s than taunt divine shield Annoy-o-Trons, especially at turn 5. Actually mossy horror does a good job but they nerfed giggling since everyone ran that card and forced everyone else to run mossy. There's a reason there's 'annoy' in their name 😛 I can't see anyone running a special tech card just to deal with shu'ma.
So much worse than Violet Wurm .. just the lack of tribe tag is enough to make me disinterested..
ARES summons Erymanthian Huffer.
ARES declares attack with Huffer .
Adonis' hp reached 0. ARES wins!
Awful card.
I think this card is the sleeper deck becouse there aren't many cards that deal with the 1/1s and the 1/7 at the same time.
Upon reveil of this card, I was sure this was the free legendary I am going to get :-), Hir'eek all over again.. Could be fun in arena though.
This card it preety bad couse spawn it's at the end of turn and those tokens will most often die on another turn....
Eh, I’d say that it would be like Octosari, nobody expected it to be good, but it could find a niche in certain decks.
This ain't no place for a hero
Weird card, but I'm sure it will find it's place somewhere. Some greedier odd decks in wild maybe?
The Forgotten Wilds - Druid
Maybe good in arena but i dont know about standard yet...
Seems like an interesting threat, but not necessarily a big one, given the cards we've seen so far
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
A meme legendary.

EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
What an odd card. In a vacuum it looks terrible, so my guess is there HAS to be another card (or two) not revealed yet that is going to make whatever this is make sense - something like IDK a spell that turns all your minions in Mogu Cultists or a cheaper/neutral Blood Troll Sapper? But by itself it doesn't make any sense, even in token decks given the high cost and the fact that the effect is End of Turn rather than Battlecry
Fun idea, guessing it won't see much play
from what ive seen, i think this one's underrated. imagine this in quest hunter or token decks.
I might be a new player, but this seems really underwhelming to me, am I right?
problem is playing sea giant, buffs whatever since its an end of turn effect. But it looks playable, its sticky comes before The Forest's Aid and not many board clears clear this fully
Cool card flavorvise. A lot of potential burst damage or [Hearthstone Card (The Stormbringer) Not Found] targets.
I feel like this card is pretty weak unless quest hunter becomes more of a thing. I think to push this card it would need to be 5 mana, or tentacle attack should equal Shu’ma attac
I really hope we see Go'rath, its "brother" or whatever. I wish (If Go'rath appears) that they have a cool synergy like "at the end of your turn, give your minions +1/+1".
They are from wow's raid Dragon Soul, and housed a C'thraxxi and N'raqi bosses Warlord Zon'ozz and Yor'sahj the Unsleeping.
For what I see, there are a lot of Old God's forces in this expansion... I love it!
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
OK, I have it. Shadowstep a Master of Disguise so it costs 2. On turn 9, play Shu'ma and conceal it with Master of Disguise. Voilà! Conceal it again every turn by using brewmasters or multiple copies of Master of Disguise. This combo won't win you the game, but you will ABSOLUTELY annoy your opponent (and most probably you, too).
The pleasure is mine.
My last standard decks: nothing special right now.
Unless there is some wierd tentacle synergies coming or something this does not seem good. Annoying, but not good.
This is a neat card that represents a lot of stats over time, but it's tough to imagine putting it into an deck because the initial impact is so low for turn 7. It might be kind of cool to drop after trading away your board (maybe in anticipation of playing The Storm Bringer at the start of your next turn, but that seems like a major leap of faith.
Great for countering decks that rely on Divine Shield (and which don't have access to easy board clears?). And, of course, it could be powerful in token decks, but I don't see this rocking the meta. Shu'more Dust, thank you!
I nominate Tentacle for the cutest "card" of the set!

Well it's a 7/13.
Onyxia and Mad Summoner meta incoming!
The only card that immediately comes to mind that would make me play this over Onyxia is Muckmorpher, but even then there are way juicier minions to morph. Not sure where they were going with this. The fact that this is an end of turn effect rather than a battlecry makes it much worse for the usual evolve/reroll type of exploit, and the statline just seems to weak to be depended on to survive for more than one turn.
It's a shame these aren't imp tokens or token warlock might have become a thing.
Love the flavor. Hope I don't open it. But also a little but hoping I do.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
I like that it's a neutral. Definitely a good fit for a shaman, warlock, or druid token deck. I think the low attack is a fair tradeoff for something that fills your board every turn until its dealt with.
Giggling inventor was specifically good because of the double divine shield / taunt. It blocked 4 attacks or one aoe and two attacks.
This... does nothing alike
Winner winner chicken dinner
I really like weird cards like Octosari and this one too, they are making the cards that look weak but with a fun design to be implemented in this game. I hope they make more cards like these.
If only Hobgoblin triggered on summoned minions instead of played, this would be maximum meme potential.
-Hordaki (rhymes with Mordecai)
Check out the Tactician custom class!
OMG soo weak. But if you play wild and have evolve.... hmm thats not bad in this case
The card can be very strong if used by class that can buff an huge board (shaman and druid for example) because your opponent will likely have to chose to kill Shu'ma or AoE the board and letting Shu'ma survive. It can be a problem for control decks to deal with it because they'll be behind on board most of the time. I kinda like this card, powerful In the right deck and situation but not broken
Looks weak like Moroes
Probably bad. Maybe Quest Hunter or some weird Combo Priest will use it.
Very nice *in_pewdiepie's_voice*
LOL. That's one of the funniest ways I've seen in a long time to say "yeah, this is utter steaming garbage."
((Since literally no one ever plays Onyxia ... this must be beyond horrible for you to say you'd rather play Onyxia.))
Like very expansion, they need a card where people can get dust from..this is one of them..garbage effect garbage card..
This card would be a nice flavor pick in any token deck like token druid. I see it having some potential in a Unseal the Vault type of deck. It would be a good finisher or quest activator accompanying Onyxia. Nothing too strong, but a nice deck to try out on launch.
More dragons? Yes please!
You got me there
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I guess it will be very annoying to deal with Shu'ma if it'll ever be played. Tokens and a 7 health body will be hard to clear in 1 turn. Hard to say if this card willll see play but there some potentian intractions. One more decent card for arena.
seems meh, not really impressive
A very nice suport for tokens decks indeed and an interesting name.
I can finally make something out this useless quest of mine... hopefully...
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
Cards like this one never worked, this Neutral, value every turn kind of Legendery minions, so I don't think this will either.
Include this in shaman deck with Bloodlust and the value can be insane.
I feel Shu'ma is deceptively quite powerful. However for standard, at its price cost I don't think it will see play unless we see some pretty large support for token based decks. Cool card though!
I'm sorry but this card is bad. Maybe somebody will make it work but as it stands it's just terrible
Onyxia never saw play, and this will be no difference. Or at least I hope so...
This seems like a lot worse onyxia -7 1 is not worth the end of turn effect
but think of the 8 mana twinspell. maybe it's a stretch but they're somehwat similar
Mostly usefull in Unseal the Vault
I don't like it. For me it's a filler card that can only be played in arena (even if i can see its potential). If you "need" this to win in a token deck there is a problem for sure
Seems very annoying to kill, but is only a threat if your a class that can buff many minions.
Compared to the rest of the expansion, this feels rather underwhelming
Feels weak, but it looks awesome. I get why people want it to work. Sadly, a board of 1/1s isn't as good as it once was.
7 mana to fill the board with tokens and a 1/7 seems not strong enough. This card might find a spot in Token Druid and Shaman, where it will at least bait a baord clear.
I think hunter quest is the only thing that makes this card playable, and even then theres probably better cards than this for it.
Very expensive for such a weak body. It generates wide boards of tokens but decks that like tokens want to flood the board much earlier than turn 7. Probably bad.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Cool design, but not strong enough for token decks as there are good options.
It forces your opponent to kill it the moment it's played. A card that fills the board is always annoying to deal with. It can be used in token decks or in Quest Hunter.
Shitty Legendary of the set confirmed. Zero impact, insignificant body at 7 mana are horrible. 1/1 tokens in that stage of the game mean nothing.
Fun and interactive game.
I'm able to rate every card except this one. On the card page, if I try to submit a rating for overall or arena, the form throws a 500 error, according to Chrome dev tools. If I leave those blank and just vote for standard and wild, it works fine. It doesn't work on the expansion guide or this thread either. I don't know if anybody with the power to fix it will see this, but I thought I should mention it.
For the mana cost, this seems like an underwhelming effect.
The 7 health is good, but I think [Hearthstone Card (Onixia) Not Found] is a better card and she almost never sees play...
