Me like it! Hellfire with a strong body, and Abyssal Enforcer always found his spot.
Nice board wipe with a body, will be staple if Dragon Warlock is to be a thing.
Not sure how dragonlock will play, or if it will be a thing, but I was hoping locks to get decent cards this expansion.
Still need to see more cards to see how useful it will be but definitely an A+ board clear card.
Strong. I want controll Warlock back.
Very powerfull, for sure it will see al lots of play,5/5
Needs a little deckbuilding but this can rock
-=alfi=-
So.. Duskbreaker for 5 mana but also damages heroes (more aggressive and normally bad for warlock, also can be seen as hellfire + 1 mana 5/5 for dragon decks.
This card is very powerful, since both cards have seen a lot of play.
Very similar to Priest's Duskbreaker. Will probably see a lot of play if Dragon Warlock becomes viable.
Blizzard really pushes archetypes: dragon/galakrond for evil classes, and dragon/sidequests for the others. In the archetypes the current cards will be insane, else they are of classic strength.
Considering how strong Duskbreaker was, this will definitely be a solid card.
Looks like Priest isn't only one with a Deal 3 board clear for a dragon deck now. Solid
That's a very strong effect for sure.
But the important question is: will Dragon-lock have enough support?

A cheaper Abyssal Enforcer ! And a better Hellfire which can be way better against aggro archetype. I like it but we will need more dragon to make this works
Duskbreaker has returned! Pretty good if warlock will have enough dragons.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
If dragons are going to be a thing in warlock this expansion this card is going to be amazing . It's such a powerful card when you are behind that also has the possibility to end games.
5 stars
Is there a chance for dragon warlock in wild?
WIth azure drake, twilight guardian, blackwing corruptor and such?
This card seems very promising, but maybe not for standard.
Voted 4 stars.
Better Abyssal Enforcer and almost as good as Duskbreaker which Warlock doesn't need, because they have Hellfire anyways.
Basically this might finally give Warlock the last piece of Boardclear they were missing to successfully make it to lategame.
Now you have a great Removal curve of Hellfire, Netherwing, Siphon Soul, Godfrey, Nether
Warlock also makes the best use out of Twilight Drake, so we already have a great neutral dragon that's a good play on curve as well as later on.
Also, and this is just speculation, Malylock was a thing way back when. With the new Spell we have a very strong face damage spelll (that also heals) and let's not forget that Plot Twist and Dollmaster Dorian are a thing, meaning with an empty deck you could theoretically play Dorian + Plot Twist with Maly in hand and have 3 mana left for some spell action....and that's just with the current cards, who knows what else we're getting.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
5 Mana Hellfire with a 5/5 dragon body. Great card!
Solid stats with hellfire effect (that doesnt hurt your hero)? Count me in!
Hellfire with a 1 mana 5/5 attached seems ridiculously strong. Despite the conditional battlecry, I like this a lot better than Abyssal Enforcer, as it comes down at a point where it's far more relevant (not unlike Duskbreaker in Priest).
Hellfire, draw a 1 mana 5/5 and play it. Sweet
Is not as strong as duskbreaker, because it deals damage to face and comes one turn later (has better stats tho).
But duskbreaker is so strong that i still vote this card 5 stars. If dragonlock will be a thing this will be one of the reason for sure
So good, finally Blizz forgot about shity quest and print very good control cards. I missed you, Control handlock, oh, and you can play it even in wild, but still even lock with self damage is better, but still, so good card.
I think it actually does as it says all other characters (other than this dragon). So a hellfire on a 5/5 body that requires you to build around dragon. Control warlock doesn't have much staples so it should be easy to fit dragons in.
I very like the card! If warlock decks will contain dragons its a very strong 5 drop. In a dragon warlock deck it's a new Abyssal Enforcer. Seems strong to me!
this is pretty nuts, but sadly i don't think you can just add 2 cards and call dragon warlock a real thing.
One good card does not an archetype make. This is a fantastic start for an idea of Dragon Warlock, but nowhere near enough to build around by itself. I'd point to how nobody saw any Dragon Hunters during WW (which only had Emeriss and Carrion Drake), nor much Dragon Warriors during RR/Dragon Paladin during RoS - and both of those archetypes had a lot more support.
So *IF* there's more coming for Dragon Warlock then this is an anchor card, but if this is about it then I doubt the deck will ever see any sort of play (which would be a shame since this card is THAT good)
Looks like a much better arcanosaur to me...
I'm afraid it won't be enough for standard, even though "spell on a stick" type of cards are the strongest ones. The class needs more dragon support, but maybe it will happen during the course of the year.
Very good one, but we warlock still lacks a proper win condition... We will have to wait a bit more to see other cards.
The pleasure is mine.
My last standard decks: nothing special right now.
very decent control card
Board clears on a stick have always been very good for Warlock so this will have no problem seeing play. This looks like it will make Control Dragon Warlock a viable deck.
Well it's over
Close but no cigar.
Good board clears are very helpful, and since Defile rotated warlock has had a much harder time dealing with aggro decks. Another AOE that costs five or less is pretty useful, but I just don't think adding another 3 damage board clear at 5 mana will change the game too much.
This is a very useful card, and there are a lot of decks that would like to be able to use it, but this is not enough for warlock to be a competitive class.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Interested to see other warlock cards
Neat :) As others have said, spell-on-a-stick cards have always been great, and this particular design has been very effective in the past. Especially seeing as Standard has few good board clears that come out earlier than this does, I do expect it to be meta-defining in some fashion. You don't need a big ole win condition if you can just consistently spit out value in the early and mid-game!
Better call Thrall!
This is like Novice Engineer but without the card draw, and instead having a +4/+4 stats for only three more mana, plus it has a Flamestrike attached, but it deals 1 less damage and hits both players' minions and the heros. Oh, and it has the restriction like Weaponized Wasp, excepts its dragons and in hand instead of Lackeys on the board. Based on that, it seems good.
Communism is just a red herring
Hellfire with 1 mana 5/5? Very good! Hopefully every class will have a chance to at least have a tier 3 dragon deck ..
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
5 mana 5/5 with an interesting board swipe effect.
In the event that Dragon-Warlock becomes a thing, this is going to be staple.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Nice board clear, but a dragon warlock? I am not convinced...
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” ― George Bernard Shaw
EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
I know they are supposed to powercreep with the rotations and all, but damn, so far the powerlevel of this expansion is off the charts : Hellfire on a 1 mana 5/5 stick? Yes Sir!
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
If we can get enough decent dragons to have it proc consistently, this will be pretty nice. Another board clear that leaves a decent body behind .
This is the card that makes Dragon Warlock viable. Abyssal Enforcer was a huge deal when it was around and getting a 2 mana discount while only losing 1/1 on the statline is very good, on top of actually being a Dragon itself.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Fantastic card. I'm glad to see dragon warlock getting this level of support; the class was already in a pretty weak place and it doesn't have any particular affinity for dragons, so this archetype needs all the help it can get if it's supposed to become a real deck.
Duskbreaker was a ani-aggro card, it is true that one mana / one turn can make a difference, but this is still a very strong card in my opinion. Also, another slap in the face to our poor Arcanosaur, what were they even thinking with that card smh
Arcanosaur was fine IMO. Don't forget that Frost Lich Jaina was in standard at the time. Honestly the real problem for control elemental mage was Bloodreaver Gul'dan, which was incredibly difficult to defeat with Wellies. Otherwise Mage would've been the lategame deck of choice.
imo is hard to use with current warlock cards, but have a great effect and strong stats
Pretty good if Warlocks use/discover dragons much.
Hopefully dragon warlock can become a thing this card and the other spell are nuts.
Well Duskbreaker was strong enough that just one other good card was enough to make running the dragon package worth it just for the clear, so this might be the same (depending on if there’s another really good dragon the deck would want to run)
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Abyssal Enforcer without any stats lost for its Mana cost. If Dragonlock is a thing, this will see play 100% of the time. Amazing card.
since it is dragon expansion, I would expect a dragon legendary each class set judging from currently revealed cards. I have high hopes for Dragon Lock to be a thing.
we might get a demon legendary too as we wait for it's reveal.
The hype is getting real for warlock.
So I do believe this card will do major favor for us warlocks
Interested to see what other dragons will support the dragon warlock archetype. Don’t forget about the new lackey that can discover a dragon, I can see a tempo dragon lock with Dark Pharaoh Tehkan and Galakrond becoming really powerful
Hellfire on a stick is great but personally I dislike hellfire a fair amount so I can't really judge this fairly. Otherwise solid card since it has a board clear and a body that's already quite large with the new spell you can negate the self-damage too.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
10/10 . Reminds me of Abyssal Enforcer and that card turned pretty good, let's not talk about arena, where that card was one of the best ones.
A Hellfire but for 1 extra mana, you get a 5/5. This card is very powerful, yet we must see if a dragon warlock can work since warlock didn't get any dragon support from the past expansions. However, this and Nether Breath is a great start.
More dragons? Yes please!
Malygos Warlock with some Dragon support seems nice actually. These cards revealed today offer removal and heal so they are staples for that deck. I hope to see Warlock again on the ladder, it's boring with only Shaman :(
A little slower than Duskbreaker, but more board clears are always welcome.
Definitely a strong card. The only problem is: warlock has really struggled to make anything other than zoolock work lately, and zoolock doesn't want this at all. I'm guessing Blizzard is finally trying to offer warlock a control option; it remains to be seen how viable it is.
Good substitute for the ALL DAMAGE cards. At least you get a 5/5 out of it.
Seems situational..I can recall the amount of times I was missing a dragon in hand for duskbreaker so this one is going to be tricky imo..
So glad it's just a big nerfed of old Duskbreaker. They have learned the lesson.
Nothing else I can add on it, it's still gonna be a good card, especially warlock has already decent early game removals like Defile.
hellfire on a stick sounds good. reminds me of duskbreaker 4 mana 3/3 for priest with similar battlecry. it was played a lot and priest decks where viable back then. the deck really needed duskbreaker and other defensive cards though not to get overrun by aggro. very good card for warlock aswell. 5/5 is generally a strong statline and having a boardclear attached is really strong. gonna be one of the "i have to play around this" cards against warlock
I mean, its a cool and powerful card, but warlock have no dragons at all. Is this card create-a-new-deck-good? Nope.
This deck is cool. Play it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
ok, thats true. Thanks :)
Finally, what started as a joke in the beggining of Rise of Shadows shall now be a dream come true; My dragonlock barista omega agent control deck!
7/5 best dragon so far. Not best card because aparently Kronx Dragonhoof is a thing.
It hurts your hero, it just doesn't hurt itself.
I know this card, it was a demon last time... so strong! In a dragon slow deck will be a must-have
Not everyone is mother tongue! Roar.
Very hard to rate this right now, same as with Nether Breath.
This card would be perfect for any mid-late game Dragon based Warlock, with the current revealed cards it's hard to see this deck work but I would hope that more support is released. Obvious comparison is Abyssal Enforcer, which did see a decent amount of play.
Really strong, finally something worth it for warlock in this expansion. I would argue that stats are too high compared to similar released cards
A cheaper Abyssal Enforcer, can't be understimated.
Duskbreaker for warlock.wow this seems strong but ı dont know how many dragons there are for warlock and neutral.
hhhh they print dragon support for every class but they're all so strong. Will OP cards not even see play?
I agree, for 1 more mana this is way better.
Of course, only in dragon warlock deck.
Great card for sure, but Lock need some more good dragon card. We can't rely only on Twilight Drake. Anyway it's a Abyssal Enforcer for 5 mana. 5 star for sure
1 more mana than Hellfire to also get a 5/5 body on board? Yes!!
going to try dragon warlock i boardclear on a body is good
This card convinced me to play dragonlock back in the day it has been revealed.
After seeing all the expansion, I still want to play dragon handlock for some reason even I hated handlock after seeing so much times in the meta.
Dragons are really great creatures.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Hell fire in a 5/5 body or Abyssal Enforcer 2 Mana cheaper.....no words can describe the power level in control warlock
Very spooky dragon. Reminds of duskbreaker, but also hits both faces
Abyssal Enforcer, but with the condition that the battlecry only triggers if one holds a dragon in hand. This card could see play in a dragon-based Control Warlock, but even Abyssal Enforcer did not see play in Demon Warlock...
if in order to play handlock in standard we need to use dragons in a class that never saw them, then ok sure, im in.
I guess this is the way...
Yep pretty much Abyssal Enforcers dragon cousin lol
It’s good. AoE on a stick, also deals chip damage to face. Not flashy or unique since Duskbreaker was similar, but still good. Definite must have in any Dragon Warlock deck. Whether any such deck will emerge is another question.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Dragon Hell fire with a 5/5 body so cool
Strong control card and a better duskbreaker. Turn 5 seems reasonable.
We have the AoE for Dragonlock. But with so many big Dragons you'll run twisting nether too. Let's see if a viable Dragon Warlock deck is competitive.
Dragonlock's Duskbreaker, obviously. Seems legit, Dragonlock will at least be a cool meme to see.
Sweet card, but can be dragon warlock a thing? Not without much more support.
Fun and interactive game.
Cheaper Abyssal Enforcer, seems extremely strong if dragon warlock ever becomes a thing.
