Necrium Apothecary looks like it could be a really powerful tool in Deathrattle Rogue. It comes down shortly after Necrium Blade and does more than enough to account for the two stats below vanilla.
An easier to control Myra Rotspring. Might see play when some new Deathrattle cards are revealed.
wow, that's a scary one.
If you run a choice amount of strong deathrattles you can get something like a Mechanical Whelp on turn 4, with 3 extra health, meaning your opponent probably won't have the ressources to kill it outright, meaing that you can Necrium Vial on the following turn and win from there.
Granted, at this moment we don't have enough good Deathrattle minions to make this worth (wouldn't want this to hit Gral or Blightnozzle)
Overall it's similar to Ankha where it's absolutely nuts if it works out, but the deckbuilding restrictions are just a bit...inconvenient...probably for the better.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Very interesting and has some combo potential. There are some good deathrattle cards in standard, but in wild its potential is almost limitless.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
Oh excellent - even more chances for Waxadred shenanigans! I fully intend to try and see just how many Wax candles I can shuffle into my deck in one match. I'm betting with a little luck I could get over 20 with some help from Necrium Vial and Necrium Blade ...
I don't know if it's going to be good, but I am pretty sure it's going to be fun.
Big rogue potential, it is 5/5 for me:)
I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
Much better than Myra tho the only real benefit Myra has is that it is a battlecry.
Besides that Myra is alot of RNG maybe you get the best deathrattle out there maybe you only get choices which will net you a 2-1 or 1-1s.
Apothecary allows people to dupe strong deathrattle effects which they can tutor with this card.
Biggest downside of this card is when you put only 1 deathrattle card in your deck and you draw that card on turn 1 or 2.
(trying to center your deck completely around Waxadred for example)
If you got multiple really strong deathrattles in your deck this card will most likely always outshine Myra i think.
Excellent card! Will definitely see play!
Nice combo potencial.
And obvious Waxadred shenaginans.
By The Holy Light!
Every combo-deathrattle deck screams for this card!!!!!!!!!
Might help the poor Cairne Bloodhoof to have his right place in standard.
Huge for shenanigans, but even with such a card, DR Rogue is bound to stay vulnerable to Aggro (at least, given the current cards).
On the other hand, this could turn into a smart tutor card, which is the most interesting side of it, imo.
Looks like DR eogue is getting better.
Ah yes, cards with otk-ish combo potential. Just what this game needed
Nice to see Blizzard giving constant support for Deathrattle Rogue. With the cards revealed so far, the theme for Rogue this expansion seems to be thinning out your deck. This card seems scary considering some of the deathrattle effects currently in standard. The combo requirement is not too hard to accomplish especially since we have Umbral Skulker , Heistbaron Togwaggle and Rogue Galakrond to pump out 0-cost cards
Well it's over
Initially gave it a 3/5 but the tutor ability should not be neglected, it surely has potential for some really cool shenanigans as others mentioned. Changed my rating to 4/5, I think this has a big chance to see play.
Can be extremely powerful if you can reliably combo this on turn 4 and if there are few very powerful deathrattle.
If opponent doesn't kill it (maybe because he can't or maybe because he doesn't want his deathrattle to proc) you can use necrium vial and probably win the game from there, this without considering necrium blade shenanigans where you can proc the deathrattle on turn 4 (requires almost the perfect hand tho).
I don't think the combo whit waxadred is what you want, because it doesn't impact the board right away; you are looking for better deathrattles like mechanical welp's one.
The problem i see for now is that there aren't that many powerful deathrattle that impact the board in a serious way, other than the mentioned mechanical welp, and i think for this card to be super good you need 4 or 5 very powerful deathrattle minions in your deck, to not risk drawing all of them before you play this card.
Gonna be a great add to my wild Jade rouge
4 mana 3/6 are premium stats. Put on it -1/-1 and draw a SPECIFIC card and get a SPECIFIC deathrattle. This card is very good in the right deck (Kingsbane for example)
-=alfi=-
Man, that's a nice card. It comes on an opportune turn (though it requires combo), it's a precise tutor, and its stats are alright.
Between this expansion and the last, I get the feeling that we're building up to something. This, Anka, the Buried, Whirlkick Master... It feels a bit silly to release these and not another great deathrattle or combo card. Though it's possible that Waxadred and this are it. Or maybe there'll be none at all. I can hope!
Better call Thrall!
very interesting, and maybe too much powerfull
I like it s combo not battlecry, battlecry will be too OP coz stats are ok and draw specific card and gain it's deathrattle.
Maybe, will be a day where dr rogue will be a thing.
All the love given to Rogue is given also for me. Thanks Blizz for that!

I've Always enjoyed DR Rogue even when it wasn't the strongest deck around. This card is a crazy addition and opens up some nice combo potential!
I can be wrong, but this card looks like something no one cares about but ends up being OP ..
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
Waxadred synergy This card is pretty neat. Being able to tutor cards always has some merit, and also gaining any deathrattle you want it pretty cool. I really don't see this card not being played. There are just so many cool things to do with this card.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
The big health on this might actually be a drawback if you want to trigger the deathrattle right away, but probably not since you can combo cards like Necrium Vial if it survives. Was missing Elven Minstrel, this looks even better!
Very strong effect and beautiful meme enabler. Can't wait to do rediculous octosari combos with espionage and DR package. Miracle Rogue will never be the same again.
I'm not quite sure of its power level in standard, but I will definitely try some shenanigans in wild with this card as it curves out nicely with the blade . More monsters behind you incoming.
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
This one has a potential...
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” ― George Bernard Shaw
EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
Myra is proud of this little kobold. Awesome synergy with Waxadred of course.
Mana cheats and tutors are always powerful . Just depends on the meta if DR is a thing or no
The real issue with this card is how many deathrattles is the right number to play with this. We've got the think about the fact that Sylvanas Windrunner won't likely be around when this drops, and while we are gaining Waxadred what are the other deathrattles we might want to draw off this? That's a big factor, this draws it, so yes, you can play a way to shuffle extra Waxadreds into your deck to draw later off this later, that means potentially weakening your decks overall consistency and tempo for medium payoff. This probably plays a bigger role in wild at the end of the day than standard unless we get a couple interesting/dynamic deathrattles.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
This card is very good, especially wild deathrattle rogue will love it. But in general, I would say that this is even better than Myra? It draws you a card, gives him a deathrattle that you actually want (because it is from your deck), you can have two of them... the only condition is playing a combo, which shouldn´t be such a problem in rogue
great card. we already have many good DR to use with it. amazing card both in std and wild
All the comparisons to Myra Rotspring are fair enough (lore-wise this does appear to be a kobold who has been trained by Myra and has a very similar effect after all), but they do gloss over the deck construction limitations the apothecary imposes, while Myra herself is self-contained. That is not to say it isn't stronger than Myra, but rather that it should be stronger on average because it restricts the rest of the deck more.
As someone who has played Myra and deathrattle rogue way more than most though, I do appreciate having space for small deathrattles that would be sorely disappointing to draw with the apothecary. Plated Beetle comes to mind. If you want that sort of deathrattle-heavy deck I would expect Myra to be stronger because she gives you a direct choice, but if you are aiming for a select few big deathrattles then the apothecary wins.
--------------------
Looking at the lore picture however: it is awesome to see these little call-backs to past characters, even if they are indirect. Can we now infer that Dr Boom roped his old employee into the League of EVIL? And if so, did any of the other Boom-labs scientists join?
Card is strong but it seems really clunky who knows maybe it will work.
Would probably be good in something more similar to the older style of N’Zoth decks, where you’d put in 2-3 good deathrattles and try to win through the value of them.
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
The Combo makes him more clunky than I like, but a Battlecry would have been ridiculous. Seems like something that's not for me, but I'll no doubt be seeing him anyway (and gnashing my teeth when he combo's with Mechanical Whelp).
This plus Waxadred and Necrium Vial for amazing value for dr rogue.
If this wasn't a combo I could see it being run in every deck a tutor and a body with a certain death rattle is great in every aspect. But since it is a combo it is going to be a 2 card thing but that won't be hard for a rouge to pull off it's going to be great with Waxadred since it can cheat out more of him and add the candle to your deck early.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
This card is insanely powerful. Just being able to draw a deathrattle from your deck is a nice effect, but also gaining it's deathrattle seals the deal. There are quite a few deathrattle minions you would love to get from this such as Cairne Bloodhoof, Mechanical Whelp or maybe Waxadred. This card combined with Necrium Blade and Necrium Vial can easily bring deathrattle rogue back to its glory days and the fact that this minion has 5 health gives it a better chance of getting that deathrattle synergy going. Who knows, this card might even create a new rogue deck including Hakkar, the Soulflayer with Togwaggle's Scheme. The only thing holding this card back is the fact that you have to combo it.
More dragons? Yes please!
A 2/5 tutor with a potentially powerful deathrattle. Time to play priest to counter this! Cabal Shadow Priest with love to stealthis over in my thief priest build.
Wow, I really hope this card makes Control Deathrattle Rogue viable even with N'Zoth rotating out once again. Love it, for sure my favorite card so far.
this > octosauri > concede
meta solved guys
Deathrattle Rogue got a multitude of support throughout different expansions, but it never really took off. In my unpopular opinion, I don't think this card (or deck it is supposed to be run in) will see a lot of competitive play.
If a deathrattle rogue will be the thing it'll play of course. In other cases pretty weak.
Deathrattle rogue is going to be a lot of fun. Even just a meme deck that runs this alongside Baleful Banker and Waxadred
N'zoth potential? Don't know if he revives acquired Deathrattles.
Last expansion, they made Deathrattle Rogue a thing without the support for it.
This card brings something really nice to the table.
Me like!
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Decent stats for the similar effects as its predecessors, I feel it won't be as effective as tempo or miracle rogue that has already been setup for this expansion.
A nice little tutor with an upside, seems fun with Waxadred.
I already think it's a top tier card, just the only downside is it has bigger health and needs to meet combo requirement, making it slower.
But the upside from being tutor card and has already a quick access to big deathrattle effects just already outweighs it. No rogue players should care about the big health since they already have so many tools to trigger its deathrattle, and can also trade with amount of small minions in the long way.
If this card is gonna be broken, then more cards like these are going to be too as well. Where are my shaman cards anyways? Bet the class set is gonna be as powerful as the new quest shaman.
Reminds me of Gral, the Shark. Great value, although Combo part does it make it tricky to squeeze its full tempo potential. With all deathrattle synergy available and Waxadred, this is likely to be featured in meta decks.
If meta will allow some kind of deathrattle rogue to play, this card will definitely fit in this deck. Rogue usually has a lot of ways to trigger a combo effect so it's not a big deal. Very interesting to know how good it will be with Waxadred on ladder.
Might be good in arena since it has 2-5 stats for 4 mana, and a chance to draw and to get a free deathrattle.
This seems like a really good card for big rougue in wild . Also it may be really good in standard with Anubisath Warbringer , especially if you have necrium blade on .
4 stars
highly depends on other deathrattle cards available and with sylvanas and nzoth rotating out with the exp i dont see many. karthut might be alright but then again what kind of deck does it really fit into. there is also mechanical whelp which was played in rogue beforehand but the deck wasnt quite good enough. lets see if this helps deathrattle rogue without nzoth enough to make it playable. fun archetype for sure
4 mana combo card is clunky. Sometimes it ll be good, sometimes it ll be stuck in your hand without real way to get value out of it. Meh.
This deck is cool. Play it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's a must craft -sadly the fitting deck will be pretty darn expensive.
This is an absolute beast of a card. Deathrattle/Big Rogue was already a thing, at least in Wild, and this supplements an already good and proven deck. I'm really looking forward to trying this out in the next Expac.
I'm also looking forward to all of the new Dane Content this card is going to bring 🤘
Cocked, locked and ready to rock...
Looks good on paper but you need to combo this card in a deathrattle deck with huge minions,
as a rogue if you didn't have early game then your turn 5-6 play is 4 mana 2/5 with some random deatrattle im not sure how this will work
need so much support like 1 mana playdead or something broken
This is much likely a 5/5 card. tutoring a card with those stats is already good, and with all the deathratle help that rogue already has, this will deffenetly see play.
My one concern is the new cards restriction this creates, as every time a new OP deathratle comes out, everyone is going to abuse it with this.
time will tell
Kinda reminds me of Elven Minstrel.
Better Stats and stronger effect, but a more specific use.

I'm pretty sure N'zoth only revives minions if they have an inherent deathrattle ability, not if they gain one after being summoned. EG Myra won't be revived, but even a silenced Khartut Defender will.
Quite comparable to Myra Rotspring.
I would argue that this card is straight up better, with its only downside requiring that it needs to be combo'd to activate. It draws from your deck allowing you to somewhat control its effect. Can easily imagine a multitude of different targets you would like to hit, perhaps this might also help Anka, the Buried see some play?
Good card. I like the effect and probably there will be enough deathrattles around to make this card really interesting.
Hope this is going to give a boost to Big Rogue, if so I'm looking forward to play it!
such a nice tutor and solid stats as well. deathrattle rogue looks pretty strong..
I like that it lets you build around specific deathrattles, so you can have big powerful deathrattales and then this.
This card can be scarry... if any op deathrattle will be released in this set or in next one, this card can tutor and mimic it's effect
I can see this being unhinged in Wild with a Sylvanus and Anub'arak deck.
Good card, even better than Myra (which is legendary) , They dont give upon deathrattle Rogue just jet XD
it won't but it might revive 6 Waxadred's If you can summon them. :P
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
I think its better in wild that standard
Obviously meant to synergize with Waxadred, but I expect it to be too slow
A pure Deathrattle Rogue deck did never really work, and I doubt that this card will support this archetype enough. However, a deck that is build around Waxadred can make use of this card.
Hoping that this makes deathrattle rogue viable. Have gotten all the deathrattle legendaries in the past expansions and barely touched them.
Extremely powerful, drawing cards while also doubling up on Deathrattles.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
so much potencial in this card, but i dont know if there are so good deathrattles to support it
At this point it feels like Deathrattle Rogue is getting ready to explode and become a giant undefeatable cancer.
Is this the expansion when it happens? Probably not.
Good support for death rattle rogue, more reliable effect than Mira.
Cool card for a Deathrattle Rogue deck. Waxadread, Mechanical Welp, Anubisath Warbringer ... Lots of great deathtrattles available that can make this archetype really good.
In right deck potentially very dangerous card, but deathrattle rogue was so far not very impressing. Can this push the archetype into meta? I don´t think so.
Fun and interactive game.
maybe deathrattle rogue has a chance now. not dying quickly vs aggro is still a problem though
Waxadred Rogue is coming...
