Cobalt Spellkin: seems like such a nice card. Good spell generation, gives paladins more secrets and stuff, gives mages Magic trick and other shenanigans, Warlocks get some removal and draw. Just a strong effect, yet again. Doesn't have the greatest of stats, but the VALUE makes up for it.
E.V.IL. Quartermaster: seems like a solid minion if you ask me. 2/3 body is around 2 mana, and discovering a lacky is worth 1 mana. So these 2 effects already are fair, BUT then you get a free 3 armor as a bonus. Gaining 3 mana is around 0.5 mana (5 armor is worth 1 mana. Iron Hide) so the value this gives is definatly worth it.
The Scion of Ruin: we have already seen before, but it's still a super strong card. If you pull it with the Warrior Galakrond it's insane value.
Cobalt Spellkin: Ehh. Could be solid in theory, but in practice I suspect 5 mana is too much to be spending for a random effect with relatively low value. 3/5 has historically been too weak a statline for a 5-drop to be playable without a very strong effect alongside it, and I don't think this is strong enough.
Evil Quartermaster: Another ehh. Not incredible, but a Lackey for 1 is well-established as being reasonable in the right deck. The question is, will Warrior have the right deck? 2/3 with a 3 armour battlecry is decent for a defensive early game, too. Trouble with the card as I see it is that it feels like an anti-aggro card with Lackey generation bolted on, and it doesn't really fit easily into any deck. Dragon Control is going to be too tight a list, it's not aggressive enough for Tempo, and pure Control doesn't really have a win condition at this point.
RIP Kibler Dragon.

Ok...
Cobalt Spellkin is great for dragon handlock. Yay, im so happy for this card.
Warlock also has some pretty decent 1-cost cards (except from Soularium I guess)
Yeah, checked it out, the only useless card ( for handlock ofc) is soularium because of other high cost cards. Even this card wont see comp. play, it will be in my lists for sure.
I love just how Kibler is wearing a dragon onesie in the video, and he's just super casual as if this is completely normal.
So, we have a dragon that adds two cards of a specific type (spells) to your hand, with a specific cost (1) and from your class? That's crazy... Also, Shield Block with a 2/3 body. Slightly less armor and the card drawn isn't from your deck but lackeys are quite good so... Yeah, it's pretty crazy as well. This expansion is insane.
I'm excited to try Cobalt Spellkin in Open the Waygate Mage.
Fluffy Kibler Dragon is no longer fluffy :(
From all the Fluff variations I've witnessed, Fluffy Kibler had a real ring to it...
Disappointed as well :(
I vow to forever call Scion of Ruin by it's true name... Fluffy Kibler Dragon forever!
not going to lie I'm a wee bit disappointed, too
