Now, what if it read Battlecry: Your opponent's next hero power costs (1) more.
Then we'd have some double battlecry synergies...
Hmm, seems unlikely this will be crafted by many people!
rip Saboteur, will never see play
Resounding 'meh' from me. Penalty isn't big enough to be all that punishing, nor are there any hero powers in Standard that are overly threatening. The only way I can see this card seeing constructed play is in Wild as an Odd-Rogue tech to disrupt other Odd Rogues - and even then, existing techs are probably more effective, albeit less universally splashable.
Epics are not meant to be good. Just.... Different. Rare and Common Cards tend to find much more use than Epics.
There are enough 3-mana 3/4s in the game to make a deck that is entirely 3-mana 3/4s. This is not the best of those cards. I guess it's better than Spider Tank.
I think Mech synergies are better than this effect.
Very bad meme card. At least it is well stated but really this is an epic? Not sure why anyone would ever run this card in any deck...
I just awoke. I saw this upon opening the site. I read "Your opponent's next BATTLECRY cost (3) more". I thought: "It's nice that now we have something to counter Battlecry Shaman stuff.". Then i started reading here and saw people talking about Hero Power. I went back and read the card text again. Pure disappointment. I don't know why this is an epic considering it doesn't stop them from using their hero power. It doesn't even make it that more expensive. It's just +1 mana. Once. Saboteur had a delayed effect and worked only for a single turn but it completely stopped their hero power which was alright. And it was a rare card. This card just sucks.
Well, its a card.
thats just about it. It would be on the stands with Waterboy no doubt locking eyes.
This is epic and Platebreaker is common ?
I'm just laughing to what you did here Blizzard !
The quality doesnt translate to usefulness. You should know this by now. There are plenty of legendaries to back this claim
I love this kind of comments. Thank you, you made my day!
Did i say anything about usefullness? It was about the mechanic's quality and rarity.
Damn I can't believe that you didn't understand and forced me to clarify my comment...
I am playing this game since beginning, i saw enough to evaluate card's rarity.
Try to understand the comment next time before you reply.
Shame this didn't read '(1) more'. I could see some dirty shenanigans being pulled by running 2 of these and bouncing them a bunch to get the HP to 10+ Mana permanently.
Alas.
This will be the epic that I end up with 10 copies of from packs
omg I was just thinking the same thing!
This is so bad, omg
*Looks at Pre-Nerf Razakus-Priest and Paladin-DK* Finally is someone putting a stop to these Quest-Druids heropowering on turn 3!
Really bad, especially as an epic
Meh, Saboteur anyone?
