Synergies well with Embiggen.
awful rng. imo one of the worst sidequests
not impressed, Big Druid doesn't really have a build right now and Dragon Druid seems to be battlecry focussed.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This is super niche, and while it can be very powerful, its not always powerful. A 1 mana recruit effect is interesting, but the way you have to build your deck and the requirement for the effect make it less exciting to me.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Good card for a big Druid variant.
Obviously want to use this with cards that do not require being played from hand to get their full effect. Could offer a massive tempo swing if you pull out a big taunt or rush minion from this. I can see this being experimented with, but whether the archetype will have enough support is hard to see.
I don’t know what deck plays this. It seems to have anti-synergy with itself.
Probably a must-include in Big Druid cause of Embiggen synergy

I mean sure the reward makes since for the requirement in a Big Deck.
Eh, it's gonna probably summon a Acornbearer or some Battlecry minion you really wanted to cast.
Pretty easy to activate, but you get a random minion from your deck and lose out on any battlecry. Probably not worth it in a lot of cases, but maybe you could build a deck around something like this (e.g. include mostly rush minions and high value deathrattles).
Works with embiggen but messes up like every other card we've seen from druid maybe it could be used in a Malygos otk of some kind but I don't see too much use other than big druid.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Might be interesting if you only use spells for your ealy game.
Not bad, play 2-3 minoins and summon a big minion. This will help big druid, and druid has a enough draw that you wouldn't mind drawing this on the later turns. This will probably be a pretty consistent card, and with the new ramp card as well as all of the big dragons, and all of the 'evasive' cards, big druid will probably be a force to reckon with.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
big druid doesmt exist. this won't see play, only meme deck material? btw is this a 2nd sidequest for druid?
i dont like this sidequest, seems on the worst for me
Could work in a big druid deck if it was a thing.
More dragons? Yes please!
Bad if you’re running a decent amount of early game, but if you run a lot of late game it gets really inconsistent. Doubt this’ll see that much play
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Big druid incoming, but aggro will make you cry
Dragon druid? most dragons are midrangy, and you could run mostly spells early game in druid so big dragon druid could use such card, just that recruiting a random card.. make it quite restrictive to run this card you probably don't want choose one or situational minions.. and then you have to spend 10 mana on minions..
People here mentioned Embiggen ye, maybe that..
Works well with Embiggen, but outside of that I don't feel it. You want to Recruit with a purpose; otherwise you're rolling the dice every time you use this Sidequest, hoping that it's not going to pull out a Battlecry.
There are so much minions that Druid can summon with spells so only big and slow minions(I meant non-battlecry ones) can be used for this deck and hope that 2 minions will be enough to complete this side-quest but well this strategy might not work if you draw all of the big minions at early and couldn't draw this.
Well, there are still good big minions in Druid's range. So I can't be sure that it might work or not. So meta dependent.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
I don't see this gaining much traction. Obvious synergy with Big Druid, but aside from Embiggen there's no other support for that archetype right now. Perhaps gets play in Wild?
Probably a dragon druid with this card with the spell that ramp if you have a dragon could be something
Big Druid that uses Tokens? Idk how to fit this card lol
There’s potential for Big druid or maybe a dragon deck if you dont care too much about battlecries.
All side quests are garbage and this is the worst one, maybe good in big paladin, maybe.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
Mana cheating is mana cheating but dont think its that good to build around quest since no battlcry is pretty hard to achieve and reward is meh.
I don't think it'll see many play. Maybe you play it with Embiggen in a kind of big Druid deck? But I don't think it'll be played. It's a good arena card though.
Seems good in the new dragon druid decks that we are going to see as the new set releases!
The card seems good in paper but in reality not so, it has anti-synergy with itself since it seems to be oriented for some kind of tempo Druid, but again when quest completed in a tempo build you can get extremely lowrolled
Big Recruit Druid minor comeback?
Ehhh... Those sidequests are so weak... But it may play in big druid
Big druid doesn't have anything to offer currently, but I'd consider it in meme astral communion druid in wild I guess?
Very good for Big Druid. If properly built, it's a great card.
I don't think Spells that summon minions count. But Big Druid is indeed a very interesting concept. Summon a 10 mana minion, get another 10 mana minion for free because of the sidequest. This might be viable with some sort of Dragon core and cards like Breath of Dreams which ramps.
basically a recruit generator for big druids..should be fairly easy to complete the quest but getting the wrong minion out would be a pain..
This card fits into big Druid, but the big archetype was never viable for Druid.
Since most dragons have battlecries, you rather don't want to use this card in Dragon Druid.
not very sure about big druid beign a good eck this expansion
I like this one! A good tool for some kind of big druid which might see play if there will be such deck on ladder. This quest is pretty easy to complete if there is enough time. Will definitely try this in Wild.
It looks like an easy to complete quest, but it requires you to play "big druid". I don't see many support cards for that archetype after nerfs to wild growth and nourish. The Breath of Dreams cards can help, but more support may be needed.
It seems a card that wants to be played in a big druid.
The problem with this sidequest is that if you want to complete it early you have to play small minions in your deck too, but they can be recruited instead of a big minion and make the pay off not worth it.
In an only big minions deck is hard to complete the quest early, and will be complete in a point of the game where you are already playing those big minions.
I don't believe it will see much play
Spend on minions? Probably no summoning then. Seems not good enough, especially since there are lots of battleground or Choose One Minions for Druid.
Will this also trigger the battlecry of the minion (if any)? If so, this is a pretty nice card. If not, it could really mass up with your game.
1 mana recruit, but how much must you ruin your decks curve to make this work?
For now this sidequest has no play. This card can be good only in a Big Druid, but right now Druid work with battlecry and combo...so this card is too inconsistent
The rng makes this awful for me. Even if you get a big guy out from your deck, you have to build the deck around this card. And full of big minions, you cant activate the sidequest soon enough.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
I like these autocomplete quests... max value.
Good in wild, bad in standard. Rip this card, not gonna see play for sure...
I rated it 3 stars, but after reading some comments here I feel like it should be lower. Free cards from deck are always powerful though so Im not sure.
hard to evaluate, probably really really good though if it is built around. might fit into quest or big druid
Potentially huge upside, letting you summon a big thing early by playing a few medium sized minions in the midgame. Or in the lategame it lets you double up on big guys by playing a 10-cost minion and yanking out another huge minion onto the board.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Didn't we ditch recruit mechanic 6 expansions ago?
It's not that big druid wasn't a good deck, but Yasha'rash and other big guys were key for the deck. We dont have enough big minions worth of this deck right now.
This needs dedicated deck, filled with big minions. You can't get early mana cheat, because you need to summon those expensive minions in the first place. With that in mind, it's useless if you get it early, when you have to defend yourself. Also wastes battlecry of a minion it summons.
I think it's really bad.
How much support until big druid is actually a thing?
A Gather Your Party for one mana? Great, but where? Druid lacks the non-Battlecry big minions of Warrior.
Put your faith in the Light!
Pretty meh, honestly. Even if you play it early, the reward shouldn't come until turn 6-7, making it very answerable.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
I don't think this is so bad, you can have a big minion druid deck and use this a recruit, even if you don't get a dragon battlecry, dragons that will be in this deck will be really big.
My problem with these sidequest is that you potentially spent too much energy on something that isnt game winning and this case its definitely not. Dont see this being good. Its gonna be a no for me
There is an inherent counter-synergy between this card's condition and payoff which sinks the card for me. At the earliest, you can get this card online by turn 4 (Coin 3-drop, 3-drop, 4-drop), which would be fine, but that requires you to stuff your deck full of inexpensive minions in order to curve out... netting you a statistically mediocre minion summoned from your deck.
Meanwhile, if you go for big minions, there's no way you can complete the quest before you could feasibly play whatever it you're summoning from the deck anyway. At best you get to summon two big dudes for the price of one somewhere in the later stages of the game, when that tempo advantage is a lot more likely to get dealt with by mass removal.
If this worked with spells, you could easily build a deck with mostly spells and a handful of big dudes to capitalise on Strength in Numbers, but as it stands the card is its own worst enemy.
Actually have to reevaluate this. Could be very useful in an Embiggen-big Beast/Dragon type of deck where you want to cheat out your big minions as to not get punished by the mana increase.
Summonin an 11/11 Oondasta from your deck that then summons another big beater from your hand doesn't sound so bad
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
You can play it in a big Dragon Druid deck. Or a Malygos combo deck maybe?
I don't now if big druid is gonna be a thing, but as it is now, this card seems slow and unreliable... Ramp druid is no more, so yeah...
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
Looks interesting, but it's probably too messy to be usable. The bast way to trigger it early is to play many cheaper minions, but that means the reward is worse.
A very interesting card. The condition is pretty easy to fulflil, especially if you're playing a midrange or control deck. But the fact that the reward is summoning a minion from your deck creates a challenge for deck-building. What minion would it benefit you to be 'cheated out'? And how could you build your deck/adapt your play-style to ensure that the minion you want to be summoned from your deck is picked?
Only deck that can think about this is big druid, and even in here is it very unreliable. Highroll in its true form.
Fun and interactive game.
If this is in your opening hand, and you curve out maximum mana spent per turn, the earliest this could activate is turn 5 after spending 1 mana. But if you play so many 1 and 2 mana minions to get the mana effectively, how good is another random minion?
I could see it being absolutely killer in a Malygos deck, though.
As if spending mana on minions was a big deal ..?
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
One of the weak sidequests, it may fit some combo deck but in my opinion there is no great minions to summon in this way at the moment
