Why isn't Scuttlegeist a Spider?

It sure looks like one. It even synergizes with Spider synergy (chump tokens that die so you can play a 5/5 on the cheap). So why isn't it? Is it because it's a Ghost Spider? I know this sounds like another Ghostly Charger debate but this one actually seems significant, I can understand if it's just a gameplay balance thing because this card would actually be significantly better as a Spider (whereas for Ghostly Charger, it really doesn't matter either way, Beast Tag does nothing for Paladin) but in that case, couldn't they just replace the art with something blatantly less spidery? It just seems to cause a lot of confusion.

Looks more like a crustacean to me, with two giant pincer claws. Never thought of it as a spider *shrugs*

Okay, I'm in the wrong here, that's a much clearer depiction of what I'm supposed to be looking at.

All I know is I'm glad I can appreciate the League cast in a way that doesn't make me want to bash my head against the wall now.

To be fair to the OP, I made that same mistake initially. It feels like it should be a Spider, though it's clearly not. *shrug*
