If you want a couple of Hearthstone packs, Blizzard is dropping 2 free packs to everyone who watches Hearthstone on Twitch for 6 hours over the next few days!
- This promotion lasts until February 29.
- Watch 3 hours of Hearthstone on Twitch to earn 1 Descent of Dragons pack.
- Watch 6 hours of Hearthstone on Twitch to earn another Descent of Dragons pack.
- You must link your Twitch and Battle.net accounts.
If you're interested, you'll want to login to your Twitch account, go to settings, and then connect your Battle.net account. Remember that drops are only active during the stream and we're going to have more, wonderfully formatted information on the event closer to it.
Quote From Blizzard We're celebrating the first new minion-type in Battlegrounds with Twitch Drops! From February 26 at 11 a.m. PT - February 29 at 5:00 p.m. PT, watch 3 total hours of any Hearthstone stream on Twitch to get 1 Descent of Dragons card pack. Watch for 6 hours (consecutive or non-consecutive) to get another one! Watch time accumulates across the entire Hearthstone category, so long as your Battle.net and Twitch accounts are linked.
Link Your Accounts
Before you can receive awards, you'll need to link your Twitch.tv and Battle.net accounts. Here's how:
- Log in or create an account on Twitch.tv.
- Navigate to the Settings menu by clicking your account name in the top-right corner of the home screen.
- Navigate to the Connections tab of the Settings menu.
- Find the Battle.net section, then follow the instructions after selecting a region and clicking Connect.
- When connecting accounts, be sure that you're currently logged into the Battle.net account on which you'd like to receive your rewards.

Does anyone elso also only receive the packs on only one of their servers? I got mine on my "america account", where I play just rarely, but no pack on my EU account which I play everyday and I'm kinda dissapointed...
Were the twitch drops supposed to only go to one server per account? Seems unfair :(
Thanks Flux for this info, I´d definitely miss this event, as I couldn´t find it mentioned elsewhere ♥
Also be sure that the streamer has "twitch drops enabled" -> it appears as a green label under the channel info.
may I have the link to some working streams? tks
fe. Thijs is doing all day stream

is there a way to see your accumulated watch time?
Now just enable Youtube drops any time until Masters Tour LA and we're good.
Do they have to be 6 continuous hours or can I watch 2 today, 3 tomorrow and the last 1 yesterday?
I can confirm you can split watching hours, I watched like an hour yesterday and two hours today and I got pack for 3 hours total.
Direct quote from Blizz post : "watch 3 total hours of any Hearthstone stream on Twitch to get 1 Descent of Dragons card pack. Watch for 6 hours (consecutive or non-consecutive) to get another one! "
I believe it’s in total, but I might be wrong.
At the very least watching three continuous hours twice should work
Cool. I already watch that much HS on twitch anyway. Free packs are great!
TIP: Open multiple streams that have drops enabled, turn the setting down to the lowest, and mute them. I've done this with the COD streams and it works.
Any HS Streamer?
Yes, any should do. I think the only thing that matters is that the stream category is Hearthstone.
Thanks
Still using the old twitch stream for drops? How? Why? Youtube?
They're not using the "playhearthstone" stream, instead they're giving out packs for watching any 3rdparty stream as long as it's in the Hearthstone category.
My guess is this was some contracted thing between Blizz and Twitch before they struck a new deal with youtube and this is just them "finishing out the contract" rather than breach it. I mean that "reason" re: new battlegrounds stuff sounds let's say "uncharacteristically generous" for what is a minor mid-expansion tweak - reeks of "let's get this over with"...
