New mage OTK with Kael'Thas

Ok so this is a totally unreliable 9 card combo in mage. First you need to play Kael'thas Sunstrider. Then you play Elemental Evocation into Mana Reservoir twice,Pyroblast face. Then Frostbolt face twice and another Pyroblast to the face.

Damage:

12+5+5+12=34 dmg in one turn!

I'll surely try this out, and it wont work. But its fun atleast.

  • I wouldn't call it unreliable, but it's a 9-card combo, gonna be pretty hard to actually get all those combo pieces together

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

  • elemental allies is a good draw engine for this kind of thing, but i don't see it working out either.

    Living like that.

  • I don't fear the draw, I fear the handsize.

I've played large combos before and the biggest issue is always the fact that you eventually can't draw anymore cards without burning them while also only being able to play 1 or 2 cards a turn because the rest of your hands is all combo pieces.

It's probably better to just throw this into Cyclone Mage and RNG the hell out of your opponent...who knows, maybe you even get an OTK out of it.

  • you could throw it into big spell mage pretty easily that deck never played more than one or two cards a turn with the amount of big things they played two pyros would be a natural fit imo

    Living like that.

  • Yeah, I think the handsize will be the biggest problem as well.

The Mana Cyclone addition can maybe make it work a bit more often.
