Does LoR tend to lag on mobile?

I don’t play a lot of HS nowadays, mainly due to the insane lag on mobile. It came to a point I can’t even finish a game without exiting and re-entering the app, and most of my games are ruined.
Does this happen on LoR as well? If not, I might consider playing it instead of HS just for the ability to actually play the game.

Have not had any problems playing LoR on mobile!
I haven't had any problem with the iPhone mobile version in terms of performance. I think the trickiest things for me are things that don't map super well on to a small screen (e.g. hovering over my opponent's hand to see a revealed card proves to be nearly impossible).
Never mind... I can’t even finish the tutorial before the app glitches and closes. So much for trying LoR : (

I do have lots of issues with HS on mobile and even on my tablet sometimes. with LoR I havent experienced lag or other issues that plag HS mobile version.
If you are also having issues with mobile LoR then it might have something to do with your own device im afraid
iPhone XR here.
No issues with LoR.
However, Hearthstone does like to be laggy every once in a while but I think that's more attributed to my connection on mobile and not the game.

No issues, only a LITTLEEEEE laggy when certain champs level up, like Jinx and Katarina, buts nothing more than 0,2 secs. Game runs ducking smooth!
In HS defense, with the same phone i NEVER have any issue with Hearthstone with any animations or things of the game.

En defensa de Heartstone, con el mismo teléfono NUNCA tuve ningún problema en el mismo juego ni con ninguna animación ni cosa especifica del juego.
Played Heartstone since beta. Never reached Legend but rank 1 two or three times, Spell Hunter is my soul. LOR Enthusiast. MTG Resentful cuz im bad.

Update 2021: I dont play Hearthstone anymore, and i dont regret. Playing LOR and lovin' it. Discard Aggro is best deck!
Sounds like you need a new device more than anything.
performance on the 2 seem quite similar, so if you can’t run HS, don’t expect to be able to run LoR.
Personally I pla HS exclusively on mobile devices with zero issues
I too play both games on an Android tablet (Samsung Tab2, I believe) as well as on a laptop sometimes. I have some slight latency issues with HS on tablet--very noticeable when first loading, and sometimes when playing battlegrounds but otherwise tolerable. I have no issue with LoR on either device.
I've only played LoR on an iPhone 11 and lag only occurs if there is weak service coverage where I am at. The biggest issue I have with playing on a mobile is if I fat finger a card from my hand and accidentally play the wrong card. This can be addressed by checking to make sure you've "grabbed" the correct card before dropping it in play.
