Responding to comments - anyone else have this issue?

Hi, Is anyone else having this issue? When I try to respond directly to a specific comment on an article or a forum, it seems that when I hit submit my comment just goes to the newest space on the discussion. It means that my response doesn't appear to be in the context of the other user's comment. Thanks for looking into this and confirming!

You will have to elaborate, it doesn't seem to happen to me, just tested this.
You say comment on an article or a forum, can you link specific examples?
Does it happen when you reply to multiple posts in a succession, for example that the first one goes in just fine and then the next ones are borked? Are your comments misplaced even after you refresh the page, or at that point, are they correctly nested under the post you were replaying to?
Is this a problem with only the Reply button or Quote as well?

Right now I’m trying to reply to the top comment (Riffraf). Let’s see if this works!
Edit: For me it displays me commenting on Sinti’s post instead of Riffraf’s. I think this is the bug they were describing
That's exactly the issue I have (I am responding to Sinti), but referring to what CursedParrot is illustrating below.
Edit: and it appears I am responding to Cursed, not Sinti, as intended.
Yes, I´ve noticed this too. Seems like the Reply button doesn´t work properly. (Replying to the first post)

Yep, it is bugged for me as well, but it looks like my reply automatically replies to the last post in every thread, not the first. It has been like that for quite some time.
On mobile, I don't even see you guys responded to anyone, just post under post :) I also can attest it is like this for quite some time, but I use Quote instead of Reply and it seems to work ok.
