You don't know that and it's overexaggerated. They most probably have better things to do than read reddit every single day.
Most days, when I'm having my coffee in the morning and before I even get to work, I check this sub. It's not something I have to do (I'm off the clock and on my own time), but it's a nice way to get a quick pulse on the community before I dive into the forums and emails once I get to work. :)
I have a personal reddit account too, so I'm already part of the redditor culture to a degree, but I can assure you I'm not the only one who does this.
