Esteemed Nevalistis, while i have your attention, could i put in a suggestion to possibly have an option to turn off the filter that is experienced in the Diablo 1 anniversary event in Diablo 3? I seem to be getting photo-sensitive in my old age and the "blurriness" caused by the filter makes my head and eyes hurt to the point of having to stop playing all together =(
PS; I cant wait for the Necromancer!
Thanks for the feedback; I'll happily pass this on!
How about answering why Blizzard used photos of known modded games to show what D1 and D2 looks like?
An honest mistake missed in the shuffle of a very busy time before the convention. That's the simple truth; it's really unfortunate that this mistake was made, because we know the perception it has created.
However, the team does care very passionately about the game - the entire anniversary event was a labor of love that, originally, was going to be as simple as implementing older music into the game. Every feature that's been added, from the retro UI to the entire 16 level dungeon itself, was done out of various members of the team stepping up to do so because they wanted to, sometimes even on their own time.
Feel free to send me any missing interviews or videos you've come across! I know plenty of folks are still headed home and publishing their own takes on this weekend's news.

Me too!
