There are 4 Realms of Fate in Act VI - they are bounty areas, similar to others except that the tiles they pull from are from every Act. This means, on the same floor, you may walk from an open field to the middle of a dungeon. Makes for a very different environment!

I feel like I'm missing something - are the Realms of Fate an event? A zone? A tileset for rifts? Or do we even know?

There are 4 Realms of Fate in Act IV - they are bounty areas, similar to others except that the tiles they pull from are from every Act. This means, on the same floor, you may walk from an open field to the middle of a dungeon.

Makes for a very different environment!

Will these zones have some sidestory like greyhollow island?

Indeed - it may take some exploration and a few run-throughs to piece the whole story together. :)
