Basic Deck Guides For All 9 Classes. 0 Dust!

I’m Sheng, a Legend rank constructed and 7+ win-average arena player. I run HearthstoneCoaching.com where our coaches have helped many students achieve the same.

I really enjoy writing Hearthstone guides for the community, and I've written deck guides for all 9 classes using Basic cards. It's a useful resource for those of you who are short on cards, and want to build decks that can help you complete dailies (or get you started on the ladder).

When I first started playing, I used Trump's Basic decks as a starting point, and they helped a lot. It's been almost 9 months since those were released, and many cards have been changed, so I thought it'd be nice to go through and redo Basic decks for all 9 classes and provide a thorough overview on how each deck should be played.

Each of these is constructed from cards unlockable after getting a class to Level 10. They require no Arcane Dust to craft. The general idea for this series is to provide a starting point for new players to get started with Hearthstone. Over time, with the provided upgrade section to each guide, players can plugin their Expert cards from booster packs or expansions to improve their deck over time.

Basic Deck Guides

It took me over two months to finish this series (with the help of Spark, who wrote the excellent Basic Hunter guide). Deck construction was one of the hardest things for me to learn when I first picked up the game, so I hope this will help newer players bridge that gap faster than I did. I hope you guys enjoy!
