@ChoiJaeWoong_HS I’m sorry you faced that and I’m glad he sent that apology. The desktop report function is the best way for us to find these types of things in chat logs—even if you were playing mobile at the time. And yes, the team’s aware there are gaps in the current system.

@hsdecktech @ChoiJaeWoong_HS Yeah, I’ve had so many people add me, send me some hateful message, and then quickly block me so I can’t see the chat anymore.

@mattmatthudson @ChoiJaeWoong_HS You can still see it and still report them on desktop, even if they unfriend you.

@hsdecktech @mattmatthudson @ChoiJaeWoong_HS DeckTech needs to be added to the CS team. You’re so great at connecting with us

@hscontest1 Thanks, I'm happy where I am--I'll connect with you all from Community and let CS handle the more technical stuff, lol

@hsdecktech @ChoiJaeWoong_HS Are there plans in place for the team to identify and address these gaps?

@hsdecktech @ChoiJaeWoong_HS Can you explain how to do this? Sorry for the nub question, but when I tried to report the behavior on the blizzard site, it doesn't even list hearthstone as one of the games to report abuse in. This same situation happened to me at a really bad time recently https://t.co/M6HiwANyeJ

@PizzaCardRips @ChoiJaeWoong_HS Yeah, it's actually in the https://t.co/YIWelPCSAm app. You go to the right where the list of friends and chats is, double click on the name (or go through the "chats and groups" button) to pull up the chat log, then there's a dropdown next to their name with "report."

@hsdecktech @ChoiJaeWoong_HS Ah! That was quite easy, knowing that. Very much appreciate it, hadn't been able to find that solution on the site or forums.

@PizzaCardRips Making it easier to find is one of those gaps I was talking about.

@hsdecktech Sorry to slide in here, but is there an option to block someone without him being on my friendslist?
            • hsdecktech

Posted 3 years, 7 months ago (Source)
@DeelaTV Hmm, what functionality do you want? I'm wondering what "blocking" does over just not accepting the friend request.

@hsdecktech Someone keeps sending me requests, several a day. I don’t want to leave them open for accepting, but if I decline he sends them over and over again. Don’t want to add him just to be able to block him.

@DeelaTV Hmm, yeah, I think the only way is to either leave the request open, accept and then block, or prevent all friend requests in your Account Management Page.

@DeelaTV And the streamer mode might help prevent future similar instances.
