A friend I went to high school with got a job in CS at blizzard so I applied and got an entry level QA job on WoW. Years later, Hearthstone had one balance designer and needed a second playtester. I was the best player @ Blizzard at the time so @mike_donais had me help him out. https://t.co/vmDUCsLScr

I had applied to be a designer on wow 2-3 times but was rejected each time. After playtesting with T5 for 6+ months they finally opened an entry level position, which was exactly what I had been doing, so I applied! I was rejected and they hired @m_mccall instead lol

To be fair, @m_mccall is op and they made the right move. Another position opened up a few months later and I actually got it this time! Onmy first day I showed up 30 minutes late because my car got stolen. I don’t think anyone believed me… 9 years later, still having fun :)
