And for context, I played Yugioh for like 10 years. I quit around the time Exceed summons came out, and now there's 2 more ways to summon things?! I'm a freaking Normal Summon boomer.

@Songbird_HS One of the things I liked about the start of Duel Links was that it was a more basic YuGiOh that took me back to the early days of the game when it was mostly not so much of this.

@Songbird_HS Basic game rules can’t be copyrighted, so I’ve long had a fantasy of making a new game with YuGiOh’s basic rules and just making design choices I prefer (a large portion of which is on the individual card text level).
