Random thought that just occurred to me. Does anyone still sit down at a dinner table just to eat dinner (like, not at a computer or TV) anymore? Is that a thing that still happens? I don't mean special occasions, I mean like daily.

      Interesting, thanks for the responses. Seems like a fair mix. I just realized that I hadn't done that in decades, even though it seemed like a 'normal' thing. Then realized I hadn't seen anyone else do it in that long either. Guess people just don't talk about it if they do.

      @Celestalon Our family sits down at the table most of the time. 1-2 nights a week we get too busy and have snack/sandwich/leftover nights, but I have littles. If I don't get all of us to sit down together we miss sharing our day's stories with each other.

        @Esoth Yeah, the vast majority of the people responding 'yes' mention children.
