@Songbird_HS As a mage player I'm so disappointed that the legendary dragon is neither creative nor powerful! The card text is even the same as flamewaker, so boring!

@Songbird_HS @KyleYue98 The card does look boring and underwhelming, but the card art is on point! Plus as you've said a lot of these cards that look awful will make more sense post rotation. Doesn't make me excited for the mini-set and the next 2 months when I hear that though.

@BowlWorld @KyleYue98 I feel like what I said is being interpreted as very extreme. We have to strike a balance with the 3rd miniset of the year because of the upcoming rotation. Some things slot into existing archetypes, and some things will be ok now and better later on. Nothing is unplayable.

@BowlWorld @KyleYue98 With 35 cards obviously everything needs to be more impactful, because there's just less here than in a full expansion. It's less forgiving if something doesn't land. But making 35 cards that will be less relevant in 2 months also isn't the answer.

@BowlWorld @KyleYue98 And obviously, I'm still new at this. This is only the 2nd miniset that we've made for the 3rd expansion of the year. Maybe we'll change our philosophy down the line. Just trying to explain where I'm coming from I guess.
