      A few months back, as part of the Hearthstone team’s restructure, I accepted a new role leading a small team of designers working on Modes.

        Modes — that elusive fourth button on the home screen that is not Standard, Battlegrounds, or Mercenaries. It covers Arena, Solo Content, Duels, Tavern Brawl, and “new projects.”

          I’ve also worked hard to bring Wild and Classic under our banner. I’m a big fan of both modes, and players who love them deserve more direct attention. (This week’s Wild theorycrafting stream should indicate that MANY people on the team believe this.)

            This doesn’t mean that I am “The Wild Guy” from now on. I’m focused on ways to make the format more accessible. Final Design calls the shots on balance. So please don’t DM me about Kael’thas.
