Guff stats can confuse people. Allow me to explain their interpretation. Here are 25k games in Legend with a sample Ramp Druid list, sorted by drawn WR. Guff doesn't look like an outlier, does he? Good, but not OP Yet the drawn WR here is underestimating his power https://t.co/PPIIcvbRVa

@J_Alexander_HS high dwr is still by far the best indicator of power among available hsreplay options high mwr is a good indicator of what cards are going to make players mad, though.....

@IksarHS Is there some part of the analysis you're skeptical of? Not sure I understand the first tweet

@J_Alexander_HS I think this is more likely something feeling powerful and fishing for metrics to support a feeling than dwr actually being misrepresentative of power. That is where my skepticism comes from.

@J_Alexander_HS To be fair, your points are valid. It’s why we use a modified version of dwr for internal metrics. I find that in almost all cases flat dwr does the job its meant to tho, which is stack rank the power of cards in a deck list.

@IksarHS There is that connection between drawn WR and power though it’s always in context. Passage allowed for Rogue to do things as a class it couldn’t before and was included in all decks I know of since it’s release. Yet it’s never been a power outlier by drawn WR as far as I remember

@J_Alexander_HS In my experience, it’s exactly cards like this that allow you to do weird and unique things that are often overestimated in power level. The same way boring cards that are less situational tend to be underestimated.
