Have extremely credible SA allegations against them, that one’s spouse was directly involved in a coup attempt with seemingly no consequences, that 5 unelected officials, most of which were appointed by the popularity-minority govt’s can strip rights from millions of citizens,

That this no longer being settled precedent means many other rights are in danger of being stripped, that this represents a frighteningly real slide into a religious autocracy, that it seems like there is absolutely no recourse for the people affected by this except to flee

The state they live in, the list goes on and on and on. And whats worse is that there seems to be no recourse except to go out and vote! Which is as close to feeling powerless as possible. I’m deeply saddened for the people affected by this today, angry at these elected officials
