I feel an intense level of burnout lately. Both at home with physical exhaustion, and at work with trying to balance “all the things”. Constant sick kids, the guilt of daycare, everything going on in the world, work stress, money, the neverending pandemic… it’s so much.

@cuppy I feel that. (really) Not sure if this helps, but going to share: I accept that everyday I cannot be the best at "all the things". Some days I'm kickass at my job and am so proud, but it oftens means I didn't throw a football w/ a little or go on a walk w/hubbs. (1/2)

@cuppy And some days I am the bestest mom, but I didn't get to all my emails. Accept those days and being human. You cannot have days where you do everything great. Just know that if you overdid it on "one of the things" you'll make it up another day on "another thing". You've got this!

@alkali_layke See, I'm even long past the goal of trying to be the best at all the things. I'm just trying to keep all the things afloat at this point.

@cuppy I just mean...Celebrate the things you did well that day. And mentally pat yourself on the back. It's hard to be a mom and juggle all the things. I'm sure you're doing an amazing job. I have no doubt 💙
