When should a streamer match gifted subs and how many should they match? Trying to figure out the benefit besides people seeing they got a sub and potentially checking out the channel.

@DmoneyBrand IMO this is all just "advertising budget" it's less about the "how many" and more about the "what is my advertising budget for my business this month?" So more...what's your budget? Where is the best place to allocate that?

@alkali_layke I like this way of thinking about it, thank you!

@DmoneyBrand Sure! Happy to help. When I streamed by budget was $80/month. That allowed me to do a $20 HS giftcard giveaway every week and a standard bundle on expansion months (before I got codes from HS). Sometimes I would do the cheaper bundles too ($7/10) ...my stream grew like crazy

@DmoneyBrand I tell streamers all the time...don't wait around for games to give you codes. Take your stream into your own hands (on a cheap budget!) and grow it yourself. I was getting 200 ccv for for giving out the old deal of 5 packs for 7.99 (i think that's what the cost was)
