I have a question, and I'm sure that no-one knows this, or has any ability to tell me, but I have to ask. What is churn like in first episodes of tv shows? e.g. If I start watching the first episode of a show, and I don't watch the second - where did I stop watching?

Is there a histogram on a dashboard somewhere, of the % of people who didn't watch EP2, for where they turned EP1 off? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? 30? Or do they tend to finish the first, then decide 'nah' to another and nope out? Or do companies not track TV like F2P games?

This seems like data Netflix would have on a per-show basis, but would not share. But regardless, I would like someone to share it with me. I bet there's some interesting insights in there.

Imagine going through every show for a given genre and comparing people who didn't come back for EP2 and figuring out where they churned. Was it a lack of action? Did the hook not get revealed in time? Was the inciting incident not fire enough? TELL ME YOUR SECRETS, ORACLE
