I’m giving up on Maxim. Being 800 votes behind someone with no social media presence who has never even shared the contest publicly seems pretty suspicious and I’m a little frustrated. I’m trying to see the very best in everyone and assume they have massive paid support but idk

@emmaskyeward Interesting fact about that contest...the official rules state that Maxim can actually just choose whomever they'd like to win in the end anyway. Personally, I also dislike the % that they give to the charity that they claim they're raising money for. It's all very shady.

@alkali_layke I found the contest side to be pretty reasonably managed and the charity connection seems super legit but I know I get tons of messages every day from bots about buying votes so some people are def doing that

@emmaskyeward Only 25% off the paid votes goes to Wounded Warriors and they market it in a way that looks like it's much more. I found the whole thing very upsetting and dishonest.
