@IksarHS Definitely an interesting read. I remember learning about the looking glass self in undergrad. It's important to keep in mind just how much of our self identities are based on what others think/expect of us.

@IksarHS Look at team 5 . Buy cards packs to support the game. Now buy skins, mercenaries for an alpha version of a game mode, while BG was in beta for 2 years and was only released from beta cause they figured a way to make money.

@IksarHS I wouldn't even say it's "most positive response" - it's just the most total response, including negative. A lot of commentary about his "transformation", and his own comment section, is negative. But to Youtube, to a large extent - engagement is engagement.

@kolstIRL Yeah, I mostly meant positive reinforcement rather than positivity. Positive reinforcement comes from different things depending on who you are. More followers, more subscribers, more listeners, more money, etc.
