      Person 1: Yeah, let's ship the barebones version of feature X and we'll improve it over time! Person 2: Yeah, we'll get those extra things in on V2 of feature X! *months later* Everyone: Feature X is old news we're excited about feature Z now. Feature Z is top priority!

      @IksarHS Reality is, you never get less busy. Fix it now, or don’t fix it. Thinking you’ll magically have time later is just lying to yourself. This is not the same as sit and polish it on your own until it’s perfect - show the thing early, iteration and feedback is how it gets good.

        @LinusFlink More difficult for most people to pitch improving something than it is to pitch something new. Usually improving something requires detail and a critique of someone’s existing work. Pitching something new anyone can do. “we should make (waves hands) x thing this other game has!”
