I have a question for you all, because it's something I just can't figure out for myself. At what point do you consider yourself (or someone else) a content creator?

For context: I called myself a content creator whenever I started making videos, but anyone can make / upload videos without wanting to be a creator. Then I changed my definition: content creation is a job, so I can call myself that when I make a full-time living doing this

So I was uploading and streaming daily without feeling comfortable calling myself a creator, because technically I wasn't succeeding yet or being able to sustain myself. But now that feels wrong, it's interesting to see my perspective change. Where do you draw the line?

@ItsBen321 Imo all you need to be a content creator is to create content. Similarly, all you need to be a game designer is to design games, but for years I wasn't comfortable calling myself that even though I made games. I feel it has more to do with self confidence than definitions.

@ItsBen321 I think you can see it in the way this question is typically asked ("do you consider yourself a content creator" vs "who do you consider a content creator"). It's about how you feel about yourself, not about whether someone else making content "qualifies" as a content creator.
