      Murder Accusation - the first in a cycle! Accuse a minion, then "find" the evidence to deem them GUILTY Dew Process - a 10/10 name @hsdecktech came up with. the effect changed in final though!               Perjury - thematically, Rogues aren't telling the truth in court. mechanically, burgling Secrets opens up many paths for Rogue, plus this staying up for a turn gives security for Halkias's effect!                             All Fel Breaks Loose & Sightless Magistrate - both of these are total redesigns from my first designs, and ima be honest I dont remember much about them LOL.                               @MyntyPhresh Sightless Magistrate is a reference to blind justice, and I believe we had the character before the design so we made something symmetrical because that's "fair". Not sure about the origin of All Fel.

                                @Songbird_HS Oh one small tidbit about All Fel Breaks Loose is that Cora and I had to workshop the textbox because using the "Resurrect" wording - although shorter - made a reaaal ugly textbox. Funny how more words made this textbox readable lololol

                                Incarceration - i LOVED the Forbidden cards from WotOG, so the original version of this spent all your mana and made a minion go Dormant for that many turns.                                         @MyntyPhresh Custodian was a 3 mana card with this same effect for a while, but when we got the art back it was a huge character. So we just made it bigger. :D

Finally settled on Framester.

                                          @MyntyPhresh @Songbird_HS Art is another place where this one was tough. The concept was that she was framing someone by slipping some incriminating evidence into their pocket, like a reverse-pickpocket. But how do you make that reverse direction clear in a static image?! Hopefully name+art+flavor clear.

                                    @TheNine13986429 It was a bit excessive lol. There was also some weirdness with spending 1 mana to kinda silence/freeze a minion, which we thought wasnt great. 3 turns was often the most played version, so the version we shipped with is still good!

      @MyntyPhresh I must say I'm a bit sceptical about the card design in order to fit puns. Shouldn't it be the other way around where you design a card that's fun to play/not frustrating to play against and make sure it fits in well into the class/meta and then after that see if puns work out?

        @MyntyPhresh Like, would paladin have gotten an effect of 'order your deck' if it weren't for the pun? I kinda doubt it honestly. These are very cool thematically, but a bit *too* thematic for my liking if that makes sense. Either way I'll be glad to be proven wrong soon :)

          @TonicNova Yeah that sentiment is fair, though i think minisets are a great space to make cool stand-alone cards with how small scale they are. Its also a different design style - im a very top-down designer, so i like to start with fun characters/themes that inspire mechanics.

            @TonicNova its also not always clear what a class is lacking going into a miniset during dev time since the miniset is a part of the main sets dev time. if we do find it, we do make pivots (Sightless Magistrate changed to help the low-hand DH deck deep into the minisets development)

        @coolboypai essentially, yeah! i basically made the "first pass" or "rough draft" of the miniset, with ideas for card cycles, card names, individual designs, etc. then once that was in, everyone just playtests and makes changes/tweaks from there!
