                Phone died towards the end, but we made it home. Mexico ended up winning (and Peru losing) with a messy goal in the 85th minute. Bit of a bummer because Peru were the underdogs and really played better for most of the match, just to lose it in a sloppy play at the very end. :/

                  Neither team played great, tbh. Not many through balls, breakaways, shots, or big plays of any sort. I don’t watch much soccer so I’m not sure if all teams play this way these days or just these two, but it was a little weird.

                    Felt like both teams were playing like they were used to being the small guy and not really fighting for 50/50s in the air. Which, since these are national teams, might just be true.

                      Anyway, the fans for both sides were great! Made a few friends, lots of cheering, playful razzing, etc. Just an all-around good time.
