Poor Dood gets the snip snip tomorrow morning. I know this is a very common surgery, but I’m still very nervous for him. Any advice/tips from you veteran dog owners on what to expect from his recovery is welcomed! https://t.co/TsTThSKPuz

@TheWarshack Chance goes in on Thursday for his surgery. We love big dogs but they damage the house when they have large plastic cones so we get the soft inflatable ones. Best advice I can give you.

@alkali_layke Dood absolutely hates the cone. Ordered him an inflatable one that gets here tomorrow. Poor guys having an awful time. Hoping it gets better over the next day or so.

@TheWarshack Awww darn I'm so sorry. The inflatable one really is better and they can lay on it like a pillow. I also usually request an anxiety pill too but that's because I've always had two dogs and I need the recovering dog to chill. May not be needed for your little one.
