this isn’t an uncommon thing for pvp mobile games to do in general (first few games are secretly bot games— e.g. fortnite) but i’m not much of a mobile gamer so it’s all shiny and new to me

@kchironis Yeah, I'm really curious where the point is where you do start facing real people. I think it's *way* later than you might think.

@Celestalon my guess is that it’s whenever they feel there’s sufficient data to make a good skill based match. i’d guess 15-20 games?

@kchironis My guess would be... You start seeing a few real players around 30-40 games, but at a low chance that scales up as you continue to rank up. Probably some clever things where like you face a string of bots if you ever lose a game to a player.
