Hold up, if I copy this spell with Asvedon do I get a permanent copy in my hand too? @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh https://t.co/7bOAtryDJJ

      @ZeddyHS @Celestalon Probably! Havent tried it myself but its functionally like infinite Twinspell - id be VERY surprised if this wasnt the case

      @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh Wait.. warrior doesn't have any shadow spell so... you can cast this but you won't get any card out of the discover

        @MonosBzh @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh Any class can discover a shadow spell unless it specifically states it's from your class. If the vision said "Discover a shadow spell from your class (this stays in your hand)" then yes, it would be a dead card.

          @JockyRhonson @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh That's not true : I saw this interaction with azsharan scroll when playing priest, you only discover whirlpool. You don't have fire or frost spells in priest so the game just let you get the only nature spell of your class That's the same here. https://t.co/6OSx2jdbdd

            @JockyRhonson @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh When they don't specify, that means it's only from your class or neutral. Otherwise, they write "from another class"

              @MonosBzh @JockyRhonson @ZeddyHS @Celestalon Previous person is correct This specific interaction is the case because Priest has 1 possible option from the Discover as a whole If a Priest were to play Mystery Winner (Hunter - Discover a Secret), theyd be shown Hunter options since they dont have Secrets of their own

      @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh Would casting a spell with the text "this stays in your hand" return the spell to your hand? 🤔

        @SwaguarTV @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh if the card is implemented like twinspell, it'll work. but instead of twinspell it's just twinfinite we'll have to test it

          @RidiculousHat @SwaguarTV @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh Is there any functional difference between this and how Frozen Touch’s infuse works, though? It sounds like not, but often cards are worded differently for a reason. https://t.co/XTeLoihA7c

            @WickedGood @RidiculousHat @SwaguarTV @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh My assumption is "stays in your hand" means it's always taking up a hand space slot. For instance, if you have 10 cards and play frozen touch with a Gadgetzan auctioneer you will burn the 2nd touch. Would expect this can't be burned

              @pocket_train @RidiculousHat @SwaguarTV @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh Yeah, but, say, if it triggers counterspell, do I lose the card or just the 3 mana I used to try to cast it?

                @WickedGood @pocket_train @RidiculousHat @SwaguarTV @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh Also finley/plot twist

                  @D0nkeyHS @WickedGood @pocket_train @SwaguarTV @ZeddyHS @Celestalon @MyntyPhresh 99% sure that adding itself back to hand is part of the spell effect, so finley+plot twist should just put the spell that does that back in the deck it doesn't have any glow in the video, so i think it is just infinite twinspell - no hidden player buffs here
